The only issue is that the walls are paper thin and you can hear absolutely everything from the people next door. Apart from that everything was perfect. A dream location.

Perfect location if you have a car. The famous cows are nearby. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. We hiked all the trails in the area. We're not hikers but the hills were so pretty so we had to explore. It's exactly what you need for a relaxing weekend getaway. The pub/restaurant are super nice. Food is tasty, a bit expensive, but it's ok. All staff was amazing. We can't wait to come back

Stunning location. Professionel staff. Fantastic ground. Good communication. Breakfast included was very good for the price we paid. Check in and out was flawless. Parking was easy. The hotel itself is lovely.

Hardly anything. If I was VERY picky, I would say that the curtains could have been more effective, they let in a bit more light than we would have liked.

Very helpful staff – one receptionist helped with our heavy case. Very good breakfast, we enjoyed it very much. Liked the room decor and comfortable bed. The good quality coffee and tea provided in our room was much appreciated.

First dinner was spoilt because it was only Luke warm. Would have been excellent if hot. Table not set for breakfast on second morning.

The lovely building and character. The wonderful location and views. Very dog friendly. Good sized comfortable, nicely decorated bedroom and ensuite shower with magnificent view. Friendly welcome at Reception. Good English Breakfast

Breakfast....long wait for hot drinks with the excuse given that everyone arrived at once for breakfast. Surely they should anticipate a busy breakfast service if the hotel is full?? However the food was great.

Food was excellent. Location was beautiful and the old part of the hotel was fantiastic.

The quality and capabilities of the dining room staff was dismal. Delays between courses were unacceptable. It seemed as if the staff had forgotten we were there on a couple of occasions, especially during dinner. The mattress in our room was old and uncomfortable.

The women on the reception, especially Nicky, were always very pleasant and helpful.

Shower needed cleaning a bit more and the floor in the bedroom. One of the windows in the bedroom was stained due to being old. There was a broken window in the main hallway which looked a mess. Limited vegan options in the main restaurant for food

Lovely location and views Liked the hotel architecture Friendly staff and good customer service, made to feel welcome, particularly lady on reception. Great breakfast with plenty of choice and fresh food such as nuts, berries, yogurt. Room was comfortable and spacious with quality tea bags
