Nothing. It’s perfect!

The hosts could not do enough for me. I left my room in quite a state after rushing around at 4 in the morning to be ready for a 40 mile walk and when I arrived back they had cleaned and sorted my room. They left me food out when I couldn’t make the first night’s breakfast and still made me breakfast the day after even though I didn’t leave my breakfast sheet the morning before on the Saturday after my walk. It was clean with a good selection of biscuits, teas, coffees and hot chocolate. I seriously cannot fault the place. Oh and the breakfast was amazing.

I don’t have words to describe how great Tracy, the owner, is! I felt at home, she treats you like a mum and is always ready to help! Everything perfect, the room, the location close to the city center, but above all the breakfast! Never had such a luxurious breakfast in my life! A big fruit tray, cereals, milk, coffee, porridge, yogurt, sausages, eggs, bacon, vegetables…My stay was simply perfect! And Tracy is too lovely!!

Everything. The owners were so welcoming, a lovely couple, so friendly and helpful. The premises so comfortable and clean, the room was lovely, everything you needed, and breakfast was fabulous. Not too far a walk into Keswick, but plenty of parking if you drive in if you have too much shopping to carry !!!!

We had a delightful stay at the Beckside Guest house. Tracey was a lovely and welcoming host. Our room was really tidy and had a wonderful mountain view. The breakfast had fresh fruits and multiple choices of warm dishes. We were extra delighted for the vegetarian breakfast options. Plenty of fee parking near the guest house!

Lovely couple run this place, made us feel very welcome. Rooms were lovely and clean, and the location was only a couple of minutes walk from the main square and the car parks. We had a great stay here and I'd come back again

Everything was great.

Lovely spacious clean room. Fab breakfast especially the fruit platter. Our hosts were helpful and friendly. The guest house was very close to the town centre. We would definitely stay again.

Only slight thing was the air freshener in the room was quite over-powering, so if allergies/sensitive to perfume worth mentioning in advance to hosts.

Lovely and clean, nicely furnished and delicious breakfast. I’m vegan and Tracey and Andrew went out of their way to make sure I had options - lovely fruit platter, non-dairy milk, delicious cooked vegan breakfast with two types of sausages. Location perfect for walking into Keswick and easy to get parked on the road. I also left some clothes in the cupboard by accident and Tracey kindly posted back very promptly - wouldn’t even let me pay for postage. Thanks both for a great stay!

We have visited keswick many times,and so far stayed in a different place.However Beckside was the best yet. The hosts were very friendly and the place was spotless. Also close to the town center and the park. A very modern decour and a great breakfast was had. We were so happy we have rebooked already for next year.

Backside GH is perfectly located in a lovely neighborhood, with street parking and a very short walk to the city center and the lake. More importantly is the friendly, helpful welcome, the deliciously plentiful full breakfast with a unique fresh fruit tray and the 4 clean, comfortable ensuite rooms.The hosts are.extremely thoughtful and kind in making sure all their guests' needs are met. 100% recommend.

TV in Room could have been in a better position instead of to the side ( twisting neck to watch ) just a suggestion to move facing the bed.

rooms were very clean and well presented , plenty of coffee milk tea ,water . The Bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was fantastic with locally sourced food, very filling and set us up for the day. location was good. Hosts were lovely and very informative.

Property was faultless.

The Beckside is simply the best b&b I have stayed in, it is only a short walk to the town shops, restaurants, transport links and a lovely walk to the beautiful Keswick Lakes where we spent day walking, it was breathtaking. The Beckside is immaculate and spotless throughout. Our hosts Tracey and Andrew were so welcoming, friendly and helpful, breakfast was beautifully presented, abundant and prepared to perfection - simply delicious. Our twin room was spotless, comfortable and homely with a good ensuite shower. I will definitely be recommending to friends and very much look forward to returning.
