A great breakfast of boiled eggs and toast, cereals etc and our hosts kindly accommodated me on the early start.

The beds are maybe too soft for our taste and quite small, but the double bed instead of Quinn is unfortunately almost everywhere we stayed until now.

The accommodations were very comfortable! The location was within walking distance to many services and amenities in Stonehaven. Due to our early departure, breakfast was provided the night before!

I honestly cannot think of a single thing we did not like - it was just perfect.

The owners were incredibly friendly, responsive, and treated us like family. As soon as we arrived, they knew exactly who we were and met us with big smiles and the husband quickly helped us carry our bags up to our room. The house has super thick walls and floors - providing a reasonably quiet environment to relax (and sleep!). We had a late train the day we were leaving, and the owners were super helpful in letting us rest in the lounge area a bit before our final departure from the house.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The guest house in a central location close to all the amenities so unless traveling further out of town there was no need to use the car which could be left in the on site car park. There was a good choice for breakfast and the quality of the items served was very good. Service was excellent.

My only minor gripe was not having an en suite but I knew that when I booked.

Would be handy to have some disinfectant in shared shower rooms...but not a major issue at all..just a wee suggestion

Our room was a twin, as the hotel doesn't have that many doubles, but the twin room was spacious and we both agreed we got a better night sleep on our own (no duvet stealing).

Breakfast options(lots of veggie/vegan options too) were great and very nice. Bathroom was good for what we needed. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Great walking distance into town. We ate evening meal at the famous fish and chips takeaway "the Bay" then walk around the harbour. Lots to see in Stonehaven.

Noise from road at 2am but as last minute booking couldn't be helped. Won't stop me using again just book earlier & ask for room at back of house.

On site parking for motorbike. Easy walking distance to town centre. Owners were very accommodating & couldn't do enough for you.

It could be warmer in the room and in the dining room.

A very pleasant stay. The hosts are very nice and helpful, great contact during the stay and before arrival - they responded quickly to messages and were very friendly. Very good breakfasts. Room and bathroom nice, clean and comfortable. Great location close to the city center and the beach. If I come back to Stonehaven (it's really lovely) I will stay again.

Room comfortable clean and tidy. Breakfast which was a cooked one was good. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good to have parking on site. Great location as not far from centre Market square and near the harbour.
