For me personally, breakfast could be improved. The lay out and presentation. Although room was comfortable. There were parts of the carpet that was soiled and carpet not hoovered.

The room was not what I was expecting, so that was a lovely surprise. Breakfast - was fine. The service was good Location - brilliant. Right in the middle of town centre. Transport link was excellent.

Burn mark from an iron on the carpet at end of the bed which was ugly and rough under foot. Also a pink stain on carpet near mirror. Change carpet, clean stain or add a rug?

It is noisy close to bars and sirens going all night so sleeping was a challenge take some ear plugs! The outside of the building is shabby and the room was very basic mismatched furniture and rips in the curtains which spoilt it for me.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, the communal areas are nice and modern. The drinks were not too expensive and the hotel is close to the arena, bullring, etc all within walking distance. The communal areas were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good, well cooked and plenty of choice. The bed was comfortable.

Our room was 'tired' & could, in all honesty, do with a 'make-over'. So saying, it was warm & cosy.

All the staff were polite informative & extremely helpful. Dinner was well cooked & extremely tasty.

The fire alarm went off in the morning because some muppets upstairs were smoking in the room.

The room was a nice size and it was fairly cheap considering it was NYE but I guess that's because nobody goes to Brum for NYE.

Corridors were particularly featureless. The only stairs I found felt like a fire exit - not a staircase for guests. The floor numbering was a bit confusing. I seemed to go up several flights of stairs before coming to floor 1.

Spacious room. Quick check in and out. Good facilities in the room - hairdryer, coffee machine etc. Lobby was a great chilled and spacious place to take a moment after checking out.

There was very little choice on the menu for vegetarians, although the food - and service - was all good.

All the staff were exceptionally pleasant and went out of their way to help us. For our little group of friends, they made the visit. Location was important too, as we all arrived by train.

Bathroom was clean and nice but a little tired.

Great breakfast. The bar and restaurant areas downstairs are really smart and cosy. Location right by the New Street station is ideal and only a couple of minutes walk to the Hippodrome Theatre. Room very clean, nice and spacious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Having two other people enter our room ,we where already in ,staff had allocated keycards to get I to our room, everytime I left the room ,my key deactivated itself .up and down to reception each time

The only thing that let it down for us was the coffee in the breakfast room. No taste to it, very bland, we ended up going to local Costa for our hit of coffee. Totally personal taste but definitely not for us coffee heads I’m afraid.

Really well located, room had all you could need including hairdryer, iron and ironing board, room safe and fridge. Staff super nice and helpful. Cute little note wishing us a good and happy stay on telephone table in room.
