We found nothing to dislike...but the farm is set back from the road so you will need to negotiate a private track so go steady and respect the old cobbles and you will be fine! A bit of a contrast if you have just zoomed there along motorways!

Such a charming and welcoming b&b, made our weekend away to attend a wedding at Colshaw Hall even more special. If you like historical buildings that are well maintained and remain quirky whilst providing comfort and modern facilities this is for you. Beautiful hosts and thoughtfully presented accomodation. Being next door to Tatton Park was a nice bonus. Perfect for us.

    Having to leave 🥰

An absolutely stunning little b&b, Sharon and her husband were so welcoming. It's so beautifully decorated, I had the twin room, it was lovely 😍 The mirror had blue tooth in the bathroom. Great little touch. And the beds were out of this world. I had to have a look to see where the pillows, duvet, and bedding were from. M&S, I should've known! I had the best nights sleep, it was so quiet, even though its a working farm, it was so silent at night. I have nothing but positive feelings after leaving Birtles Farm. I would highly recommend a stay there

Feather bedding this wasn’t mentioned at all on booking.com site and as I have an allergy it had to be changed on arrival. Sharon was extremely helpful and obliging and changed it all for me but it could have saved Sharons time if it had been made clear on booking.com With a prompt to request an alternative. Very grateful thst Sharon was able to change it.

Immaculate, very peaceful and a great location. Breakfast was lovely and Sharon was very helpful.

The Birtles Farm Bed and Breakfast was beautiful and quiet. Great getaway from the city or stop on a road trip. Our family had a wonderful time. Sharon was very accommodating and provided everything we needed. She was very easy to communicate with. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Very small door to en-suite - quirky but may be worth checking if you are very tall (husband 6’5” so it was interesting bending to go through a 5’2” x 2” door). Long pot-holed farm track.

    Excellent breakfast

    N/A

Rooms were excellently prepared, clean and welcoming. The surroundings were well kept, despite being on a working farm. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, and the breakfast that they prepared for us during our stay was delicious! Communication prior to arrival was spot on, and I was asked if I had a room preference as the lead booker (I booked all 3 rooms for a family stay) before I arrived. Great location in the Cheshire countryside for a nearby wedding venue and Manchester Airport is only a 10 minute drive. Would happily stay here again!

This is really petty, but my husband would have liked baked beans and hash browns with his breakfast. I don’t think there were any negatives.

A working farm that is accessible along a long track. Communication with the owner was exceptional. The room was clean, fresh and had everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I’m fussy about beds! The farm dog was friendly and wanted lots of cuddles and the cows were happy to pose for a selfie!

Loved the breakfast although had to pay £7 extra. For me it's very reasonable to suppose when booking a bed and breakfast that breakfast would be included. This needs to made very clear in the spec.

Excellent, friendly host. Pleasant room. Location in beautiful landscape. Loved being close to cattle, horses, dogs etc :) Fantastic full English breakfast

Staff were excellent, breakfast was served upon request despite not originally being made part of the booking, and served fresh to order each morning. Situation of the B&B is also excellent, away from anything busy and would make fora wonderful base for a long weekend in the city of Manchester barely a quarter hour away.
