Not much really. If I'm being picky then the room was small and the bed was a standard double but if you're only spending minimal time there it really isn't a problem.

Great location for exploring Grassington and the wider area. Great bar with plenty on and a good restaurant that serves quality food both in the evening and the morning.

The staff said they were a bit understaffed and when it got busy they got a bit under pressure, but nothing we really took big notice off

I liked the food, the staff, the location, everything was absolutely spot on.

The bed mattress was too hard and too high for my liking - and I struggled to sleep. Rooms were warm at night due to storage heaters - so had to ask staff to regulate this for myself and my daughter, which they did happily. Unfortunately, entirely due to location within a village square - there is no dedicated parking , and on the evening we arrived after a long, difficult journey we were unable to obtain a parking space near to Hotel. We had to find some private parking ground near to village - but as we had a fair bit of heavy luggage to carry was a bit of an ordeal. This is obviously something which is beyond the control of the Hotel.

Food was fantastic, especially the breakfasts! Really enjoyed the bar area too, had lots of entertainment/activities. All very traditional style. Lovely! The Staff were also lovely and very obliging in every way. We needed an early start on the morning we were leaving, and would have missed breakfast, however they arranged for someone to start early to accomodate us.

Breakfast time on a Monday was too early, food really not the best and breakfast staff grumpy at best and started clearing away breakfast before we had time to finish. A shame really as the rest of our stay was 10 out of 10.

Evening meal, our room, drinks at the bar and bar staff and reception staff very friendly. Entertainment was great too.

Excellent pub/hotel right in the heart of Grassington. Double room had everything we needed and the breakfast each morning used good quality ingredients. Staff were fabulous. Local area has lots to see/do. Dog friendly too pub too!

I might have tried more of the breakfast menu but the order was for the entire stay unless you sought out the receptionist to make a change. A boot room would be a great addition but not sure where it would fit.

Breakfast was delicious though ordered the night before. Only available for one hour. We had dinner the first night, a very extensive menu for all tastes. Good selection of local beers and a wide range of wines. The rooms come with slippers and terry robes. Heating was set high, we asked at the desk to turn it down 5 degrees for our comfort. After a day hiking I wished there was a lift, but we managed the stairs. It builds character.

Evening meal starter was bland. Chose the prawns and they were tasteless. Bed was a little smaller than expected. A little slow in the restaurant with service but it was full.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Cooked to perfection. Evening meal main was delicious. I had the pie of the day. Room was warm and comfy and the ambience downstairs was welcoming.
