There was a problem with boiler and we couldn’t take shower! When we called the reception, he said it takes an hour to fix the problem. They didn’t even apologize.

It smelled weird, the staff does not know to communicate efficiently, there are no adaptors available (NOT EVEN FOR SALE) according to the staff.

Everything. The rooms were so disgusting and the false advertisement and rude staff made it even worse.

Rooms were disgusting. Got moved into a new room and it was just as bad as the first. The photos on the website don’t match the rooms in real life. All staged and edited. Absolute dump and active building site. Will never return there. The staff were so rude as they chose to speak in their own language instead of communicating with me and basically told me it was okay that my room was full of mold and damp. Skirt boards were broken, the plug sockets were broken, the bathroom was gross and it was over so dirty and vile. Also charged me a £50 deposit incase of any damages. I think that may be a scam as every room we got to look at was damaged so they probably won’t refund me that. Dodgy place!!!!

The description of the hotel and images are deceiving. It is definitely not true what the images show and it's not comfortable at all and it was dusty and dirty.

The location was great as it was near the train station and not far from food spots.

The fire alarm went off at the start of my stay and had to be replaced. The lock on the door wasn’t fitted correctly so it felt like a slight security risk. There was no air con and the room was extremely hot

The bathroom was a bit unfinished and you couldn't hold its window open without using a prop. The wall under the window had loose paint.

No hot water in the room, really dirty hallways, elevator is disgusting. There is constant construction going on inside and outside of the hotel, leading to a lot of noise and unplesasant smells. The room smelled like chemical paint.

Photos are nothing like on the website or booking dot com. Don’t be fooled. Plug sockets hang out of the walls, windows in rooms are boarded up, taps are fitted backwards, rooms do not have the listed facilities. The property is noisy, the WiFi isn’t active, the quiet hours are not adhered to.

The rooms were dirty, room finishes weren't finished. Towels were dirty. Room didn't look as advertised. No air con or fan for bathroom. Reception was exceptional, rest of the place was not. Bin was overflowing with a number of things upon arrival. We left our bags there and came back and our bags weren't placed carefully. Room was cramped keep bumping ourselves on furniture.

The advert pictures are very misleading, not as clean as it looks at all. Bathroom is not fit for an average adult, like it’s so tiny and DIRTY. The tiles breaking off and shower curtains are disgusting and stained! I wish I remembered to take pictures of it. Toilet window also was broken would stay open. Worst part was the walls, omg they were PAPER THIN!. We could hear the next room coughing. We were rudely awoken by construction work early morning because they’re expanding the hotel and I promise you our room was SHAKING from it. It literally sounded like the construction work happening in the room that’s how loud it was, we couldn’t even hear each other properly. Why still take bookings or at least let us know that construction work going on knowing how disruptive it would be. Worst stay of my life, I never leave reviews but I just had to this so please think twice before booking. I wish I could unstay at this place lol and just spent a bit more booking somewhere decent. I wouldn’t even stay here for free. I’ve stayed in value hotels before but none were this bad.
