Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe receptionist was very unhelpful and rude. I made my reservation via booking.com with the option to pay at the hotel. Prior to our arrival, I was given the option to pay for the reservation before my arrival. Great idea....save time at check-in. How wrong could I be! The receptionist informed me that I needed to pay the balance to the hotel. I informed her that I had already paid the amount requested and would not be paying it again. I showed her my bank account and proof of the transaction, and also the receipt from booking.com, this wasn't enough for 'Mrs Jobsworth' who kept telling me that her booking system stated that the payment was to be collected by the hotel. The only way she would acknowledge that the payment had been made was for ME to ring booking.com and ask them to contact the hotel, as I couldn't confirm that booking.com would pay the balance to them. Well, after 2 phone calls... and 45 mins later, I finally got through to booking.com and was told that the payment had indeed been made. I was then told that a call would be made to the hotel, confirming payment, another 10 minute wait. After nearly an hour from arriving at the hotel, the receptionist, who was very rude and unfriendly, finally gave me the room key and then had the audacity to tell me to enjoy my stay!! During this totally unnecessary delay to check in, my husband, who has Parkinson's, was left to sit in the car, tired, in discomfort and stressed by the whole incident!
The hotel is in a very pleasant location. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent facilities if you like golf.

United KingdomThere was not a fridge in the room the tea and coffee facility was very minimal 2 of everything and there was 4 of us in our room . There was nowhere within the premises to get a nice breakfast and the dinning area closed at 8 not good

United KingdomThe property does not serve breakfast as restaurant does not open till 12 which is a shame. The bar area closed at 8:30 which is very early. Theese were the only downsides.
The room was very spacious and comfortable! And easy to locate the staff were lovely - I like the fact how the reception isn’t in the hotel so it gives you some privacy. There is a pool table and some gambling machines.

Impressed by the friendly and efficient staff who ensured a pleasant check in process. The room was clean and comfortable which was just what was needed after a long day of travel and work. Represented good value for money.

United Kingdombrestaurant was not open till 9am on the sunday morning, which I thought was quite late when you have 2 young kids ready for breakfast at 7.30am and quite pricey. Had breakfast else where Im afraid. The email to instruct on signing in was not sent till saturday , could have done with info the day before.
The hotel is out of town and quiet with views across golf, exellent playground for children. The room was very clean and comfortable and the deluxe family room suited us well. with plenty of towels and spacious.

Disappointing there was no breakfast during the week but the one on Saturday morning was very good. Good sized room and very comfortable and lovely and warm. Staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. Great parking available right outside hotel

Room was very comfortable and clean. The shower didn't work when I first checked in but they fixed it for me while I was out to dinner with no drama. I would certainly recommend this place for the room and the comfort levels.

United KingdomThe room refresh lacked a little, would have been nice to get back to the bed all made up, but very minor. The bingo felt lacking. £3 a strip with well over 100 strips sold but the prizes were a few £1 Easter eggs for a line, and an Easter hamper with a rough value of £30 for a full house. I would have liked to seen a better prize. The game was also too fast and so overall, not pleasurable.
