The room was not clean it had a empty drinks can on the dresser it was too hot radiators on .too nosey at night .was not cleaned while we was there at all.tea and coffee in room not topped up

Very dated and needs to be re-vamped. Dirty marks on the carpet. Bath looked like it hadn’t been clean for a while but was just wear @ tear (I think)

Staff weren’t very friendly or welcoming, rooms are very close together with very thin walls so you can hear everything..Didn’t manage to get much sleep!

Meet & greet poor. Breakfast without jams? What about vegeterians and vegans? Coffee is instant from small sachets. Bathroom wasn't cleaned to a standard as bathroom tap still had water marks left on it. Those stickers on the entrance door stating 'sanitised' mean nothing.

The hotel is beyond old, I mean the original carpets clearly 20+ years old are in the rooms. So old they have physically shrunk exposing a 2" gap around the wall. Shower water pressure is literally like a trickle, impossible to wash with. Windows don't lock / close. Doors are not very secure. We had a porter open a connecting room door on a guest during the evening which was a huge invasion of privacy. The lift got stuck and people trapped for over an hour.

Staff very friendly and professional The beds where passable for the money. The parking is very good, and location also very good.

Mattress needed to be replaced could feel lots of the springs, towel rail in bathroom was rusty, broken toilet roll holder, extractor fan in bathroom wasnt working, old fashioned stained bath,showerhead needed to be larger, basin kept gurgling after running water in basin, very poor wifi connection. Finished up with a double room considering I booked a twin I would appreciate a bit of a refund considering what I paid

Window couldn't be opened at all and very strong fragrance in the room to probably cover that lack of fresh air. Was also very hot and not able to cool the room down. Parking didn't seem secure as barriers not working. Rowdy guests in the corridors and felt quite far away from reception if help was needed with other guests.

There was an empty drinks can left in the room. The bed wasn’t changed and neither was the towels. The room would have been a lot better if there had been either a fan or air con in all the rooms from the first floor up especially on the 5th floor.

Room smelt of stale cigarettes, bathroom needed updating , took a while for hot water to reach 6th floor. Wallpaper torn from wall needed restocking.

Everything is said in the section above with my good things and bad things, The staff were nice the food was good a pleasant stay to be honest.

Location- good, Bed, bathroom, space not brilliant but ok. The bed can't be to everyone's comfort a bit to firm for me though. A nice bathroom a good location. Too many stairs but lifts available if need which was good. Disabled parking fantastic right outside the door of the hotel. Even though I don't like heights being on the 3rd floor wasn't too bad. When I looked on booking.com most hotels were a lot more expensive so good value for money and would be happy to stay again when in Bournemouth.

The room was old tatty and very very dated & in need of a total revamp, we doubt if it has been re-decorated since it was built in 1969 (We remember it being built )

The staff were good in moving our room as my wife is claustrophobic and she needs an outlook. inner facing rooms (it is not called the roundhouse for nothing!) look out onto a circular courtyard and other rooms.

The Roundhouse is tired and in need of a makeover. Bedside cabinets draws broken and we informed staff. light bulbs broken. reported twice but not replaced during our stay. The fan in the bathroom not working and tiles needed an update. Breakfasts over cooked and little variety.
