No internet in the room, although was stated that it is (they wanted an extra £7 charge per night), another person entered my room during the night stating that the reception gave them the same room (which I found hilarious). One towel from toilet was a bit dirty (had some black stains on it).

Mouldy sheets, shower rail in Bath was broken, key card never worked properly, check in was confusing, rooms were mixed up. Lamp shade was missing on bedside lamp which exposed sharp edges, kept catching my head on it. My friend also received a few bites.

Room was a good size, plenty of storage space, was warm as the weekend weather was cold.

Beds clean,but hard 4pm check in and checkout by 10am not great.. had to pay extra to store our luggage because luggage safe was full.. earlier check in would have been better Our room had la balcony, but the door was so loose there was a really bad draft, had to plug the lock on the door to reduce draft.. Radiator had issues that made a terrible noise in the middle of the night which woke us up, had to get out of bed to sort it out. Shower very poor.

They put us in the wrong room, I booked a shared room and they put us in a Double Room. they told us that breakfast would be served between 8-10 am the next morning. no breakfast was available and we had to find our own. they did give us money to pay for the breakfast.

I was extremely disappointed to find out that both days of our stay there was no restaurant or bar Had hoped to have new years eve in the bar and breakfast the next morning On check-in the reception had to find out if bar was open and we were then told it was closed over new year and the 1st of January Wish we had known this when we booked But as I say everything else good

As always the room was excellent and the staff helpful we even got an early check in and were supplied with extra pillows

The receptionist wasn’t welcoming to me at all. Rather hostile in fact. Dirty lift walls & worn dirty looking carpet in the lift.

Some of the reception staff not friendly. The hostile way they insist on ID even though I had booked online that afternoon and then walked into the reception. I had no ID as I didn’t know I was staying overnight when I travelled. I could have shown my e-mail confirmation on my phone but they didn’t seem interested- just insisted on me having photo ID. I was offered a refund but I told them I needed a room for the night. I was obviously upset and they were not sympathetic at all. Hairdryer seemed to be covered in grease. Shower gel/shampoo dispenser fell off and all the contents emptied into the bath.

realise you get what you pay for but the bed was quite hard and there was only one type of pillow which was really puffy. I wondered if this hotel is used to house homeless people because there was lots of people smoking out the front. I wondered if that was why they needed the security

I did not appreciate the fact the receptionist tried so had to change my room to the point of trying to cancel my booking just cause I did not accept a single room to the point where he thought it was OK for him to shout at me, and his colleague wasn't helpful at all as I asked him to give me the name of the receptionist that served me so I could put a complaint and he refused (the receptionist on the night was an indian male looking).

Deco needs updating. Room booked was not what was given. They had no availability. I had to manage with single bed room. Staff need to pay attention when customer is standing in front of them, and not continue looking at computer screens and acknowledge you when they are ready. Staff need to be more friendly! Smile! I know its budget stay, but does that also mean budget service!
