The hotel is a wedding function hotel mainly at weekends. In the week it offers value for money room formulas but the restaurant has a limited menu (changed bi-annually)that is an extension of the event catering, instead of fine dining! Otherwise a great location and lively rooms

The shower water pressure was extremely weak.

The venue and staff were lovely. Quiet location. Ate dinner in the restaurant which was nice. Plenty of room after dinner to sit in the foyer to chat with friends. Room was a great size with a large bathroom.

Nothing not to like - all great

As the name suggests, this is primarily a wedding venue and it would be a lovely place to get married, but I did that 30 years ago. We were there on a cycling tour and it was mid-week so the hotel was relatively quiet, which made it all very pleasant indeed. The hotel and gardens are grand and beautiful, as was my sumptuous bedroom. But it was the staff that really made it, especially the uber-helpful young lady who was running front of house when we arrived rather dishevelled after a long and hot days cycle. Thank-you, and apologies for not getting your name. There was a small locked room where we could lock our bicycles, and charge one of the guys electric bike. The dinner menu was extensive and we all had a great meal. Plenty of choice for breakfast the next day to get us on our way.

The water pressure in the shower was terrible. My wife couldn't wash her hair. The rooms were a little dated.

Great location, just outside the seaside town of Criccieth which is beautiful. A fantastic Grand old building with lots of character. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean as was the hotel in general.

The location was absolutely stunning and food was excellent. All of the staff were outstanding, so very helpful especially Abbie who went the extra mile to ensure the perfect stay.

The weather was warm and the room very hot, a fan was provided so could not have asked for more.

So fab! Wonderful property with stunning grounds. We booked last minute and was not disappointed. We had planned to go into the town but chose to spend the evening at the hotel and enjoy it. The meal was lovely and all the staff very friendly, professional and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough!

The staff were amazingly friendly and the food both for the evening meal and breakfast were delicious. The garden to sit in and have a drink was beautiful and allowed us to relax and enjoy the surroundings after climbing Mount Snowdon.

No bathrobes or slippers in the room, not a big deal, didn't bother to query with reception. No mini bar, bottled water or air con in the room. It was however a large and comfortable room with a big bed.

Overall a very good hotel with great décor and super staff set in nice grounds just outside the town center. Good bar and excellent breakfast, quiet on our visit.

The young lady who greeted us and checked us in was fantastic, so helpful, friendly and interested in us. She seemed to have many jobs and made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much travel. She made the whole hotel feel like it was her own house and everyone was welcome.
