Cashless bar, poor Wi-Fi connection and card payment’s struggled. Breakfast was lukewarm. Eggs dried up. Had to call someone over to ask for teas and coffee when I counted 6 staff in restaurant

Toilet didn’t flush properly and I slipped and got stuck in the bath due to not having a non slip service in bath Some of the staff need lessons on customer service and professioalism

Be wary of steps all over but there is a lift. I upgraded room on booking dot com BUT the room given didn't feel no different to previous booked :-( A friend dropped out at last minute. Either booking dot com way to make more money or hotel? Who knows. Just a.bit miffed.

Been before and would yes again for local comicon convention. Rooms are located everywhere.

The hotel was a perfect location for walking up the Wrekin and also a nature reserve opposite. The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the cooked buffet breakfast. The staff were very polite and helpful.

What I did not like was the taxi service. Charged double fair even though we phoned at 11.20. We were not told that when ringing for taxi plus it was not after 12 at night. That us the only disappointment. Which has no reflection on hotel.

Nice breakfast. Staff very nice. Clean room. Staff very welcoming on reception. Happy to stay again in the future.

Room was not as clean as normal previous guest had left us something in the wardrobe that was missed when cleaning the room. My 3rd stay at this hotel this year and may not return again

The evening meals food was ok but not good value for money as in meal size I am not a big eater but I could have done with a better size portion , the bathroom sink had a crack in it the breakfast was cold to warm

Was in room 63 ground floor at the rear. Beautiful view. But unfortunately during the night there was loud noises IE shouting screaming and laughing from room 62. Which meant it was difficult to sleep . There for after falling to sleep around 4AM We woke late and unfortunately missed breakfast.

Wifi not working. Heating failed on the Sunday. Awful coffee with breakfast, the tea is much better. There clearly are some issues with this hotel, which is a shame. All the problems here are management related. This could be a super hotel will a little more application.

Changed room 3 times due to TV and heating issues. The third was good until the heating failed on the day we checked out. Pleasant staff. Nice hotel with good location. Cheap price with an okay breakfast. For the money we paid it was good, which is why I have given it a 7. Room clean and tidy.

Only minor things,old beer can on balcony in our room,toilet roll I sheet left not been changed just led us to worry on cleanliness of rooms for this to be missed,1 staff at breakfast that was quite unwelcoming and rude just kept telling us she was on her own 🤦‍♀️ No coffee as got told it was percolating after we finished breakfast and was leaving it was ready,no bacon hash browns scrambled eggs whole time through our breakfast I just had a sausage sandwich which was nice but others may have found this frustrating No brown sauce got told to walk round others tables to finds the bowl and ask them doo it obviously I was not going to do this so told staff this was not happening if they found it could they let me know!! All in all I would return A few staff letting things down

Beautiful place,I was born in Wellington so I love coming back and climbing the Wrekin,our balcony and view was lovely in triple room,breakfast was good good value for money
