Bread at breakfast was days old and rock hard. Food in rooftop was average though the smoothies were nice.

Best hotel in Ambon. Super friendly staff especially at front desk, nice rooftop bar, plenty of breakfast choices, big room and ok gym facilities quiet and away off the busy streets. Good value massages

The place is getting dated and in need of some repairs and modernization.

Probably the best hotel in Ambon, especially for business traveler. Staff was great and made the stay pleasent. One night we had rowdy neighbors and a call to the front desk solved the problem. The Sky Bar on the roof is a refreshing place to hang out in the evening.

Great deal of breakfast menu, superb variety of option of dishes to start the day, courteous staff at reception and dining facility. Rooms' interior needs an upgrade as most hotels have modernize their looks to remain relevant & competitive, an investment well spent for owners & operator, if not will loose business competition.

The hotel was outdated but still very clean

The staffs were really nice, they clearly understood that they worked in a hospitality industry and it showed. I couldn’t clock anything negative about the staffs. When i got there early, they offered me early check in without extra fee and offered me discount for the breakfast. The location of the hotel was superb, at the heart of Ambon.

When I checked in the reception staff proudly announced they have given me free an upgrade. The upgraded room had windows. Each window over looked large and tall items of AC plant (see photos), a complete eyesore with no view of the bay, city or mountains. With over 100 rooms and only +/- 10 guests evident in residence why did they do this!! The bedroom had wear and stains on sheets and old towels. I went to roof top bar in the evening and ordered a local beer Bintang only to be told its all sold out!! When I checked out of the hotel I developed an extreme stomach upset which resulted in a doctors visit and was I prescribed an antibiotic for bacterial diarrhoea. I was desperately ill.

There was not much to be liked from room, breakfast, restaurant, reception and front of house staff. I really don't understand how this hotel got the ratings it has been given by previous guests

I stayed for 3 days and almost every day, I found my room had not been cleaned up when I got back in the evening. The hotel seemed not prepared and lacked of staff eventhough I stayed in high season the days closed to christmas. Wifi in the room was closed to not working all the time. Breakfast was also not really great. Overall, the experience was below my expectation.

The only thing good is the location. It's right at the center of the city.

I booked a room and the air-conditioning is not working i complained thrice and in the mid night they willing to change the room. It was terrible I didn't expected from swiss-bell. They might know this but they just allocated this room.
