The room was lovely. A little smaller then we was expecting but still very nice. Beds were very comfy. The staff were wonderful. They were happy to answer any question I had. We requested a fan for the room and was given one straight away. Breakfast was lovely and came out very quickly. Lovely big window in our room which allowed plenty of fresh cool air in.

The swimming pool changing facilities were really poor and there were bits of grit in the swimming pool. Also, our room number 1 was really hot and quite small and the floor boards were really bad and squeaky, needs updating a bit and a fan in the room.

Our room (15) had an emergency light just out the window kept the room light at night, blackout curtains needed, mattress was solid like concrete very uncomfortable did not have a lot of sleep wife also struggled to sleep.

The food was fantastic, nice pool and steam room, all the staff were great very helpful and friendly, old hotel but has a nice modern feel.

1. There was no toilet brush in our room, not sure why but I think they need to add this. 2. The mattress is no comfy at all, it arches when you lay on it, not great sleep. 3. Breakfast is overpriced we paid for it the whole time but had it just once, plate servings are small, they should really make it a buffet for the price they are charging 4. I feel like the pool should have ‘adult only’ times, kids will be kids but as no divide and quite tiny if you’re just trying to swim you’re splashed all the time so you can’t really relax. A few adult only times during the day would be amazing. 5. Drinks are way overpriced, we would have one beer and a pint of lemonade and it was £10.10! I saw a couple before us get a pint and a vodka mixer which was £8, how do you charge so much for a soft drink?

This was our second stay at Palm Court hotel, it was nice to see that the downstairs had an update in the reception area and restaurant so it did have a really nice posh feel to it, also all the staff were really lovely.

We were right above the restaurant (I think) and we could hear music playing right up to half past midnight and it started again at 7:30am so we didn't get a lot of sleep, but the sleep we had was fitful as the bed was comy. The curtains also didn't block out a lot of the lights from the street lamps outside so it was brighter than I'm used to for sleeping. The room was also really warm even with the windows open - can't be helpped when the weather was beautifully warm and sunny - we managed to keep cool enough to sleep. They had also ran out of salmon less than an hour in to breakfast (although this didn't affect us, the table next to us were complaining about it)

The room was clean and comfy, the bathroom was also clean. The whole room was really spacious. Breakfast was good - a basic buffet, cereal, toast etc. Hot breakfast had to be ordered seperately but it was nice and there were vegetarian options. if you needed them. The hotel was a little way up from the town centre so it was quiet on the street - the room was warm so we had to have the windows open but the street was quiet outside. it was also a beach facing room which was lovely.

The lift was a little old but we were very thankful that there was one.

We stayed for one night. The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit small but adequate for our needs. The full English breakfast was hot, tasty and the staff cheerful and friendly.

Reported unhinged toilet seat and bulb needed changing in light over bed. Reported on arrival on Tues, nothing had been rectified when leaving on Friday.

The room is so small( for a family of 3),no air conditioning, the shower is quite weak. Unfortunately, there is no dairy free milk for breakfast ( not provided), and coffee could be tastier..

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very good evening meals, perfect location, plenty of parking.

The hotel was lovely, I couldn’t fault it except that we had a room on the ground floor which was very close to the kitchen and restaurant which meant that it was quite noisy, but apart from that it was lovely and I would definitely stay again
