As pensioners, climbing the flights of stairs every time was challenging (55 steps) but we got there every time. We had to use both beds, being the hippo’s we are, we didn’t fit into one bed together unfortunately. For a rental period of more than one week we really think that more towels are needed, and charging extra for them is not really how it should be. Just a single point of constructive criticism.

We liked the location, the quiet surroundings and the apartment itself. Also the possibilities to enjoy the Lake District from this location was excellent and we managed to do everything we previously planned. So, all ‘n all we had a marvelous time in Burnett House and it’s surroundings, thanks very much!

The house itself was lovely and comfortable inside. The customer service side of things could not have been better. They accommodated us when we had a slight change of plans without a second thought. They also have been kind enough to send back a child's jacket that we forgot. I honestly will be back.

There was nothing we could fault

The property is located directly across from the beach, and conveniently there is a railway bridge that takes you right on to it - a paradise for dogs or for searching in rock pools! As the for the properly, everything was spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable and we were even provided with towels for drying the dogs, as well as some basis household items like cooking oil and laundry detergent pods. Overall there is nothing we could have faulted

Parking is on the street. Pillows are very small and thin. Bed needs to be upgraded to queen size with new mattress.

Amazing views. Very warm and cosy (even during massive storm). Well equipped older place with separate room layout. New bathroom. You can’t hear the train and walk to beach is just up and over railway.

Everything about this apartment is excellent. Very well equipped and spacious. Views over the sea are just amazing and it was very quiet. It’s definitely the best apartment I’ve stayed in for a short break ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Location. Inside the house was very clean. Kitchen was fully equiped. Very good way of taking the deposite. It was done through proper steps, the amount was blocked and then released the day after I left the property.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. I'd have preferred a bath sheet to a towel but everything was lovely.

The view of the sea was amazing, a lovely peaceful retreat. All facilities were great and all the little home comforts were in the kitchen along with a basic supply of things like cooking oil, salt and pepper.

The stairs, to take your luggage up all those stairs would put me off going again. The mattress in both room's? You have to sleep dead centre on the hump in the middle or you would roll out of bed? They need replacing.

Mainly the process of booking with Prestige Properties SA. It was onerous and difficult. Though this property was nice, I wouldn’t book a property with them again for this reason.

The property is nice - clean and with everything you might need for a weekend away. It is on the 3rd floor though and there’s no lift so be aware if you have mobility issues.

The beds and pillows are extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we got very little sleep, as a result. This was the only negative, but it would stop us booking that apartment again. Unless the mattresses were changed.

The location is 5-10 minute walk to the beach depending on what way you access. There is a small cafe/ice cream shop and a co-op. There is also a nice bar/ restaurant a few doors down. There will soon be a chip shop, currently being built. The apartment is well equipped, clean, and quiet. The only noise we heard was the sea and the occasional cute train. (Not noisy) The views of the beach from the apartment are amazing, and the location is very quiet, we loved it. Our second year visiting the area and staying in the same building.

There were still some things left from previous visitors... there was a very strong fishy smell ... only one bin liner was provided... even though all the parking spaces were free throughout our stay ... we were told by an old lady on the last day we are not allowed to park as it's for residence only. Technically we were only using the space for that apartment only but it would have been nice to know that upfront. No lift and its a top-floor apartment.. not the fault of the host but something to be aware of. remote location so no broadband some 4g dongle was available but no instructions on how to use it. Enough coffee and tea but no sugar :)

The location, view from the living room and one of the bedrooms are just amazing, each room has modern electric heaters. Very quick and comprehensive response from property management company every time. The kitchen has everything you need. Top floor apartment so hardly any disturbance at all.
