The only let down of the trip was the food at the hotel (Mizumi) we ordered the chicken skewers and unfortunately the chicken wasn’t cooked due to this my partner has got food poisoning.

The whole period of time staying there was amazing. Staff were welcoming and helpful especially Oliver and shaun. Highly recommend will be back.

An earlier check in would be nice to fully make use of the services. Room service cost a little expensive at £10 per tray on top of the cost of the meal. Charge of £12 for parking over night felt a little unnecessary when we had paid to stay at the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, in beautiful surroundings. 10 minute walk to the lake and town centre. Excellent pub food on site, buffet breakfast was amazing and good value for money. Easy check in and was shown to our room and talked through the facilities.

It was really hot throughout the property and no air conditioning (even though it was only 6oC outside- it was hot inside). The pool seemed high in chlorine and made all our eyes sting.

Property was in a great location, immaculately clean and very attentive and friendly staff.

Only the weather really, and that's ever so slightly out of the hotel's control! The only small issue we had was that the people in the next room to us on our second night, just as we were going to sleep, but before we even had the chance to say anything, someone else knocked on (assuming staff) two times to tell them to turn it down, which was good.

The room was really well decorated and extremely comfortable. The choice at breakfast was incredible, as was the quality of it. The chauffeur (Leslie) was really nice on both journeys and that was a big help for us. The location is perfect, so close to everything. The Asian fusion restaurant was really nice too. All the staff were always helpful and polite.

I could not fault the staff, hotel, restaurants or faculties, however I felt the spa did not live up to the standard of the rest of the hotel or when compared with other spas.

We stayed in one of the apartments, which was great, however the walls were very thin, so you were able to hear everything the people next door were doing, from conversations to general walking around.

The facilities were excellent. We really enjoyed that the bar was easily accessible from the spa. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful.

The bed was ok but I've stayed in better, although it was always clean and well looked after. The spa is decorated...well, not to everyone's taste I think. Overall though a great break that I would recommend to others (and have done already) without hesitation.

Staff are exceptional. We noted at reception that our sink was blocked when we went for breakfast. By the time we got back after breakfast it had been fixed! Great Service from all staff who couldn't do enough for you. I think the staff is their strongest point and biggest asset.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel at the gate house to leaving on the final day of our trip, everything exceeded our expectations: from the service the staff upheld throughout to the outstanding facilities and of course the room and hot tub; everything was faultless. The tour of the hotel when arriving was a touch of class showing of the panoramic views from the bar balcony and the entrance to the restaurant we unfortunately didn't try. The spa feel and facilities were of a standard I have not seen before. Overall this hotel is of the highest standard and would recommend excessively to anybody and I hope to re-visit the hotel and enjoy it again in the near future.

Having to pay the car park fee. My suggestion would be to book directly through the hotel. They offer a price match on the rooms and the parking is free!

Beautiful hotel. Prime position, staff knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Loved the security on the main gate, and the view of the lake was superb.

The mattress was awful and we had 2 bad nights sleep. We had a look at the mattress and you could see the springs in it had gone and it was just a cheap mattress. We paid £1112.00 for the 2 nights so you would think with what they are charging for the rooms there would be a half decent mattress.

The hotel is lovely and the room we where in had a beautiful view of Lake Windermere. This is our 2nd visit to this hotel and the staff are amazing and can not do enough for you. Mizumi restaurant in the hotel is the best around. We ate in the on both nights and again fantastic staff.

Spa was AMAZING! Staff were incredible. Facilities were great. Opening times for everything was amazing too! The room was super clean and was ready earlier than we expected too which was awesome. Plenty of parking too which was great.

It couldn’t have been more perfect. All the staff were amazing. Attention to detail was spot on. Mark greeted us and made it very special with his conversation and special attention. The bar staff were fab and the ladies on reception. The lady in the greeting hut was just gorgeous too with her cheery hello We arrived early and went straight to the spa. It was nice and quiet. Had a few glasses of fizz from the bar. Bar snacks are very good and the service. Breakfast was one of the best. With yogurts, fruits, a selection of different breads, cheese, hams, avocado etc. Also hot food. Full English and vegi alternatives. We went into Bowness and ate a lovely tapas place in the evening. But would like to try the hotel restaurant next time. Our friends went to it the day after and said it was very good. We’ve already booked to come back for our anniversary xx

It was immaculate, attention to detail by all staff members was exceptional and the service was amazing. Facilities were perfect. Food in the restaurant was out of this world. We really enjoyed our stay.
