Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomNo hand towels in bathroom, only I teabag and coffee each for the 2 night stay. Room not cleaned/ made up during our stay. Kitchen was closed on 2nd night of our stay so no restaurant facilities. Nightmare trying to find somewhere else local to eat.

United KingdomOnly got a few hours sleep, one because the bed was uncomfortable. 2 the pillows were to flat even though we had 2. 3, we got woken up at 2am because of the factory noise behind the hotel. And this continued all night long.
Lovely location for were we needed to be. We had stayed before and loved it. Hense why we stayed again.

United Kingdomthere was no where else to gop to eat except the bar or have food delivered, I went to the bar to order food, they would not let me order food for thiry miniutes because they had to deal with a big group booking, worse they tortured you by bring out their food on a buffet in front of you! When I did get served i was over chrged for an item. all this by the manager. when i broached the subject with him he did appologise but his solution was to offer me an extra drink, i was too tired to argue, and just accepted, but did not really want the drink, note coffee is from a vending machine, yuk! I have to mention Campanile is a budget hotel, almost £100 per night for a budget brand that is in need of a refresh, come on....... Service needs improving
It was not too far from where i needed to be so from that point of view location was ok, there was not much near by as it was in the middle of an industrial estate, so choice was limited in the xtreme

Reception staff changed a second floor room for a ground floor when I discovered there was no lift. Breakfast was good and I ate in the hotel most evenings. Prices were very fair as I follow a carb-free way of eating, and this was taken into account. Free parking is always something i appreciate when staying in hotels, so very happy.

A shame one stressed and generally rude individual tarnished what would have been a very enjoyable experience. And there was no information to inform you they don't take cash only card, possibly mention on booking!
It was clean and exceptional value for money. The reception staff was friendly, happy and very efficient. The cleaning staff we're extremely pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for them. Outstanding

United KingdomLots of interesting characters hanging around at all times and even worse during the night. Noisy people and thin walls aren't a good mix. Smell of weed in the hall ways. this hotel does not attract decent clientele.
The hotel was cheap and the hotel staff were very accommodating and kind, they let us switch rooms with ease.
