Could do with fan in room ie quite hot l was on second floor 217 … larger bath towel ! All else very good .

Staff all very good especially deb who booked me in and was so helpful around hotel information bus travel and transport to cricket ground etc room comfortable and spacious and clean . Food and Breakfast good .

The horse is very dated and very basic, it was generally clean apart from yellow staining in the bathroom. The restaurant bar area was more like a canteen, it looks very much like it used to be a little chef and not much has been done to change it.

The bed was soft but supportive, a really comfortable bed and I slept well which is a rare thing for me. Although it was basic I would stay again

Staff where amazing very helpfull. A sort of porch into room so meant corridors noise was not noticeable.

Door to rooms need to be slammed to shut, beds could do with being a bit comfortable, massive potholes in the driveway leading to hotel need to be fixed

The bed was a little bit lumpy but ok. Location ok, we were going to Sunderland for the Springsteen concert so it was further out than I would have liked but hotel had given me numbers for local taxis who were very good.,

Staff friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom very clean, actually the smell of bleach was a bit overpowering at first.. There was tea and coffee and a large TV so everything was as to be expected..

Spring matress were a surprise, but slept like a log.

For £40~ Im not quite sure what I was expecting, but the room was lovely and well cleaned, nice smelling, shower pressure and heat was spot on. Slept well, liked the dividing door to filter noise from hallway, staff were friendly and made the process easy. I visit the hotel every time im in the city as I charge my car, this was my first stay, wont be the last!

Hotel is ‘tired’ looking and in need of refurbishment. Examples rusting plug hole in bath, chipped paintwork etc. There was only one plug socket in the room (this was same for both rooms). This was a plug socket shared with the tv. A socket located at the bedside table with have been great. Two of the disabled parking spaces had been taken by a smoking shelter. Thus left only 2 disabled parking spaces we ended up parking in a normal bay but it was very challenging with a wheelchair !

Hotel very easy to find. We had disabled access room and a regular twin room next door. There was an option for connecting internal door between both rooms but we only discovered when we arrived and informed we had to pre-inform as key was in the safe so therefore unable to use. The disabled bathroom has one grab rail by the toilet. There is not a walk in shower, just a smaller bath (with higher seated area) and grab rail. Staff friendly and welcoming.

The only thing we didn't like was we couldn't find the hotel at first as sat Nav directed us to another hotel nearby. Eventually we found it after asking a local taxi person!

Staff very friendly and informative on arrival. Room was very clean,coffee and tea making facilities. Hairdryer in room.Shampoo and body wash dispenser in bathroom. Had a good nights sleep,we were on the first floor and it was quiet. We didn't have breakfast so unable to make a comment about that. All in all quite happy 😊

It was all very much as we expected but the bathroom floor was very slidy - not sure if something had been spilled then wiped/dried but felt a bit oily almost - room 22

I didn’t have breakfast but bought a latte from the staff there which was very nice. I felt you are maybe missing a trick with the price of the breakfast - if it was slightly lower, it may attract more people and also, not good to charge extra on the day if not pre booked.

Room was tired, no usb charging point for phones. Only free plug socket was by a light switch over a bed. Rooms are clean but could do with refreshing. Extractor fan in bathroom not working

They gave us only 1 jey which meant that bith of us could not leave to go to seperate journeys without one if us not having a key to not only the door but to the entrance of the actual hotel.

The orice was competitive. They allowed pets.

The room had all the facilities you require and a good choice of breakfast.
