Excellent location and restaurant for breakfast

The instructions for leaving luggage (through shop) were not clear for the first visit, so I ended up lugging it up the slopes from the car park.

The location is ideal. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable, with a clean and extra comfortable bed.No reception but the volunteers on site were lovely. I don’t eat breakfast but it smelt delicious.

The location isn’t great as Cardigan town is a little run down. No promenade or walk by the river. Beach a few miles away. However good restaurants and pubs within walking distance.

Beautifully renovated to a very high standard. Comfortable beds with luxury bedding. Enjoyed being in a historic building.

As i said above, just the coffee with breakfast could be improved. Everything else perfect.

Breakfast was lovely. The filter coffee was awful, very stewed and strong. This is my only complaint, everything else was amazing. We also found the staff very friendly.

Stairs to flat a little tricky with suitcase. Parking a bit of a bother as car park in the castle with tight turning point and accommodation in town, not far and at least you have parking. Room very hot even with the radiators turned off.

Wonderful large bedroom and bathroom. Fabulous view with seated area round window. Quiet and very comfortable beds. Nice breakfast area with good food. Perfect location

A bit noisy on a Saturday night

Convenient location to explore the town, nice neighbourhood with cafes and little local shops. Nice pizza shop just across the street few steps away. Comfy bed, hot shower. Breakfast included, plus self-served unlimited coffee and tea, jam & croissants which is more than enough, food tastes good but a little bit random on the portion on different days. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Free parking. Instructions are clearly provided. Bonus point is free to visit the castle and early access to the green house.

We struggled on Wednesday evening to find somewhere to have tea at 7/7.30 pm. Most places had closed at tea time. Ended up eating in a cafe that we didn’t really want to go in. Thursday night we ate at the pub and had a lovely meal.

Breakfast had multiple options, all freshly cooked to order was off extremely high standard and waiting staff were very courteous and friendly. The room was very spacious the shower was especially good and the bed was really comfy. The gardens were lovely , it was just a shame that the weather wasn’t,t very nice during our stay

Getting to and from the car park was rather fiddly from our Accomodation with all the codes to input.

Wonderful bedroom and bathroom. Good size, spotlessly clean with everything you could need. Breakfast was also amazing on Saturday, the waitress with long ginger hair was fantastic.

Location is excellent in the centre of town but still nice and quiet. There was a very warm welcome at breakfast which was very good with loads of choice.

Spacious, comfortable room in an historic location. Excellent breakfast in a lovely restaurant. All the staff we encountered were exceptionally friendly and professional.

Nothing really however although the facilities were communal it would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in room, hairdryer, small TV. It was the superior room but paintwork scratched and cracks in walls.

I'm very reluctant to criticise but couldn't find the CD player and no towel rails in tbe bathroom.

Very nicely and thoughtfully furnished. Very well equipped kitchen too. Everyone was welcoming and wanted us to becomforable.

It was close to everything that was interesting and was very picturesque. We know that it will be a good base for when we plan to come back and head to the coast.

It would be useful for the instructions to be a bit more clear about where the lodging is relative to the car park or relative to other roads/landmarks in the area, since it's distant from the car park and signage is minimal.

Charming location. After hours staff person who saw us being a little puzzled about finding the apartment was very helpful.
