Room itself was a little dated and our bathroom door didn't close properly. Would have preferred an extra couple of pillows in the wardrobe just in case.

Really nice property over all. Fantastic entrance and dining room. Very polite and helpful staff helped us arrange our vehicles to be first out in the morning. Continental breakfast was available from 7 and very kindly offered for free. Short walk to local supermarket and a couple of pubs nearby. 40 minute walk into the city centre which was OK for a group of 30 somethings. Comfortable beds at the end of a long day.

There's nothing we didn't like.

We really loved the location and the facilities in our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was comfortable and bright. The accommodation is close to a whole array of local shops and take-aways and the no 26;bus into city centre stops literally outside the guest house.

The noise from the road could get a little bit loud at night when trying to sleep m, but that’s expected from the location.

The proximity to the city as well as the space and privacy. The staff were also very friendly.

We had a 4 single bed room. The only 2 things that bothered us were that it was really, really hot, and also the air con unit, which was fully enclosed, was VERY noisy and kept me awake a lot of the night.

The room was spacious, and the bathroom was huge! The beds were comfortable, and all was nice and clean. The host was very friendly.

No curtains in the bedroom just thin blinds, so when the sun came up early it was really light at 7am, no chance of a lie in. And due to the upgrade we lost the double bed and had 4 singles on 2 floors

Everything was fine, As mentioned, 8f things weren't right they were swiftly dealt with,. So all good.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They genuinely asked if everything was OK. and encouraged me to report if things were not right in the room and you were inconvenienced and moved me to an apartment and gave me a refund. This was a great service that I had never previously experienced. .

The carpet was stained and a bit dated. Minor issue but nevertheless it needs a new one.

Our room could do with a lick of paint and a new floor in the bathroom. Having just blinds on the windows meant it was very light in the morning, I personally don’t mind this however, some may prefer the added darkness curtains offer.

The staff were so lovely and kind, couldn’t do more for you. The main rooms are incredible, super old fashioned with some history. The sports bar downstairs is huge, a great place with superb atmosphere! The breakfast was a lovely touch, really enjoyed the selection. We were super cosy too!

The car park parking you can get blocked in due to the layout of the car park spaces.

The only thing was our bathroom was freezing, the radiator wasn’t working.

The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful and gave us a upgrade to a larger room with an en suite bathroom which was very nice we also enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning all the other staff who we interacted with where very friendly and helpful

Whilst the complimentary continental breakfast is appreciated the option to have a cooked breakfast would have been welcomed. Not really a criticism, more a thought perhaps to take on board for the owners?

Very friendly staff, no faff, straight forward experience. The room upgrade was a nice surprise and appreciated. Room was as expected with the added bonus of appliances should you need to wash clothes or keep anything in a fridge etc.
