    “great”

  • The Braemar Southport Review score: 9

“This is a top establishment - professionally run hands-on by the charming, meticulous owners.”

  • Gateway Lodge Review score: 10

“We had an early morning flight back to Malta and decided to travel to Liverpool Airport the night before so that we could at least get 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep before the flight. This was achieved in great warmth and comfort in a very cosy self-catering annex on the ground floor at Gateway Lodge. Our host, June, could not have been more helpful and obliging in selecting our room. We were able to walk to the airport in around 15 minutes the next morning, arriving fresh and unflustered after our sleep. The private annex had everything we required, including a very comfortable bed, a modern bathroom (with a Shower unit), a well-equipped kitchen and a restful lounge area (with multi-channel TV). The bus stops to and from the airport and Liverpool City centre are located 4 mins from the accommodation.”

  • Brook Barn B&B Review score: 10

“Beautiful location, incredibly welcoming and great value!”

  • Tuebrook Towers Review score: 10

“The hosts were absolutely amazing, so very accommodating and friendly. Homemade cupcakes for one night stay? Yes please! We also adored Pico the needy cat, cat cuddles were the best.”

  • Upton Village Guest House Review score: 7

    “Very cozy”

  • ArklesFCLiverpool Review score: 7

“Access to the flat is easy and convenient. There's no staff, but that's not something we would value negatively, as it allows you extra-flexibility on the check-in time (specially if it's late noon). It's comfortable enough for short stays, less than 3 nights, I would say. The shared bathroom is OK and has hot water.”

  • “Location”

  • Botanic Rooms Review score: 7

“Location, size of the room and price were excellent.”

  • “Not a lot really. The room was not spacious at all. I found it like grandma's bedroom with a locked wardrobe. A funny smell throughout and no en suite. This was not to be expected at all. I have previously requested a refund for this as we did only stay one night and left early as we were not satisfied with the overall accommodation.”
