My second stay here and I Will come back every time I’m in Edinburgh. It’s easy to find since it’s just by the castle. Open all night with personal awake. Amazing place- more like a whole living than a bed. Big Good breakfast!

I have seen that stuff clean places but it’s not adequate. There are lots of dirty places. Stuff need more effort. We prefer optional breakfast for 3£. There could be more variety, there is just one slice of bread right, it’s not meaningful.

Stuff is very attentive and guiding. They solved our problem and helped us with whatever we need. Hostel location is very good. It’s so close to popular sightseeing places. There are so many places to spend time, and also there is a big kitchen that have everything.

It was a little bit loud during the night because of the wind but it was not that big of a deal.

The bed was cozy, the room was nice, the facilities were clean, the staff was amazing, the breakfast was super cheap and good for the price, they offered a lot of free extra activities. I had an amazing time!

Very good location Nice decarated common rooms, a lot of space for chill Good mattrace - I slept like a baby each night Usb spots over the bed for charging phone Bathrooms - well designed places with showers (possibility to lock with all stuff and still having space, also appreciate seperate options for girls) Despite having my own program now, I liked the options to join evening hostel programs (I regret not going to comedy night - maybe next time :-)

Loved the location! Extremely central, main train station 15mins walk, clubs, bars and attractions walking distance We went on an organised pub crawl and it was really fun with karaoke and a ball pit bar

The structure is old, but not bad.

The atmosphere is incredible!!! It’s a real Hostel. A lot of friendly people sharing the commom areas. Perfect for who travels alone. Every day they made acrivities for integration.

The beds are quite uncomfortable (my blanket was clumpy and din’t cover my whole body), the showers were quite dirty (moulded curtains), and you don’t have a lot of space to put your stuff

I think there was a bit of noise from the clubs/bars beneath which might bother some people

I haven't been in the common areas but I can say that it is one of the best hostels I've ever been. The room was spacious, steady bunk beds with comfortable beds and large locker (the hostel gives you its key). The toilets were spotless. I guess it helps that the people who stayed in the hostel at the time were very clean and responsible. I was amazed by the shower - it had a curtain inside so it protected the towel and clothes hanging on the door. It was genious!

Huge room with huge high ceilings. Building feels historic . Multiple comfortable and elegant lounges, the place clearly has a long and storied history and is very actively and well managed by people that care about what they do.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The common areas were well stocked and were a nice environment to be in. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for comfortable, affordable accommodation.

Could've used some curtains on the top bunk possibly and more bathrooms but that's just if I'm being nitpicky was great!

Super good location! Great overall vibe everyone was lovely and accommodating and the rooms were quite big for the larger dorms. There were a lot of social areas and just a good all-rounder!
