We stayed here for 2 days. This hotel exceeded our expectations. The owners and the staff are so attentive to every need. The only thing I would mention is that if you are not very agile ask for a low floor as the stairs are quite steep. Apart from that it is a really nice place in a great location.

Nice and quiet room. The beds were really comfortable. Very good water pressure in the shower. The owner of the hotel was really friendly and helpful (recommendations for restaurants, bus connections to the airport, flexibility with check-out time and take-away breakfast).

The room was very nice, the staff is fantastic. Breakfast was also very nice. The place is silent. 30 min walking from the city centre, 5 minutes from the Pollock estate campus where my conference was located.

There are 2 rooms on the ground floor,other ones only with higher steps in the other floors, but no problem for us.

Really good breakfast,rooms were tidy and clean. To the centre,only a short busride from the hotel,busses go evry 10 minutes from there,no problem at all. Kevin and Susan are perfect hosts,who love their thing to do and especially this Hotel. Perfect stay for us there in nice Edinborough. Quiet environment there in the Holyrood area.

Nothing not to like just be aware it is a typical Edinburgh mansion and being traditional and picturesque means no elevator.

It was clean and cozy. Everyone was extremely friendly. I completely recommend this place especially since I stayed in 4 star hotels in Edinburg and they were not half as good as this one!

Very friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Room was spacious and comfy. Shower was nice and hot. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Very easy to access princes street, bus stop just around the corner, although we walked in and back both days. Arthur's seat just around the corner also. Would definitely come back.

Everything, Kevin is absolutely awesome, Susan is goddes in the kitchen. The breakfast was gorgeous. Hotel is very cozy and comfy, sweet and lovely. Bus stop is 2 minutes from the hotel, near to the city but very quite neighbourhood.
