Olive tree restaurant was okay quite a lot of the selection from this restaurant looked better than it tasted which was a bit disappointing. I certainly think it would benefit from narrowing the menu up and making the improving the rest of the menu quality and taste

It was such a big hotel and people aren't quiet when they return to there rooms at 2.30 in the morning but not the fault of the hotel

The location was great not too far for me to travel. Great choice for breakfast.

When we explained any issue, it was dismissed with no apologies. Problems were fixed to a point. Thermostat did not work was told "oh well" and sent a small oil radiator. Car park payment point didn't work. They saw we were soaked from standing in the rain and again we got an "oh well" and the let us out. Problems fixed but no apologies and no caring. Room was not very clean or put together. We had to plug tv internet cable in. Bathroom tiles were discoloured and shower door hinges looking gross.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. But did seem uncaring to issues we brought up. Facilities and floor plan are great. Everything you would need in close proximity.

Lovely hotel, fantastic staff but only stayed and slept this time so didnt use the facilities. Has always been excellent on previous visits though. I also very much appreciate the use of the elec car chargers and its one of the main reasons I stay as far from home and good to know I can charge overnight at the hotel - excellent.

Had I been in the room that I had booked, I don't think our stay would have been as enjoyable.

Paying for the parking and the walk to reception was quite a trek from what was a very busy carpark breakfast in the morning was very crowded and a lot of people only one coffee machine working big cues not ideal

Its just a shame our room was dirty. there was a few spiders webs with dead spiders in them in the beams of the suite, that had clearly been there for months. there was cheese on the carpet of the bedroom and a tray of dirty plates and food we had to ask to be removed which smelt. Im not sure how long that had been there for. The sink wasnt dirty as such but it wasnt clean. There is a possibility the bed had been made in our suite but nothing else.

I thought the hotel was very grand and it felt very good to be there. The staff were very polite and accomodating. The food was expensive but nice. the free minibuses to get around the venue were a very nice feature as it is hilly. There was a lot to do and see.

Very hot at night. Stingy with amenities in rooms- eg only one satchel of hot chocolate between two people. Only one coffee sachet each. Considering the price i would have expected a little more. A bottle of water would have been nice.

Great that so much choice of food in one place. Lovely shop. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom was lovely. Spa excellent.

The service in the restaurant was slow due to staff shortage It was Chaos in Checking in due to Internet Problems which still was not fixed when we left.

Room was ok but as the WiFi was down so we were unable to get keys for our Room but they did have Staff to let you in. I had Rebook my Dinner on that Friday Night which I had to eat much Later. There was Staff on each Floor on Hand

Very pricey to eat at the hotel, shame that you have to book in for everything! Sadly we also had rather lumpy and uncomfortable pillows.

Bathroom needed to match a 5 * Th room defo didn’t wow us hit the bed was comfy

Paying £20 for parking as a resident ( in fact paying at all) is a definite deterrent. I would avoid staying again for that reason alone.
