Room did not get made up. Apparently we were supposed to put a placard on our door. No placard to be found, and no prior explanation.

Beautiful place. We had tea in the afternoon and we are considering becoming tea drinkers now!

Nothing to complain about. Just an idea to install a jacuzzi where the pool is, plenty of room to have one and maybe a sauna.

Breakfast was delicious, good selection from cereal, fruity, croissants etc. I grapefruit from the continental followed by egg benedict and my partner had full English.

No fridge in room Double bed on the small side Dinner pretty ordinary for the price, and not up to similar 4-star hotels in quantity or quality Our room was close to the road to Ebrington; traffic began at 0600; but at least the window ws double-glazed.

Swimming pool arrangements very nice; gowns and shoes were a bonus. Breakfast excellent Heating in room and premises very good. Bathroom and hot water excellent Cupboard and drawer space fine, with hair dryer

the 'Potter' room, on the ground floor, was subjected to creeks, groans and noise from movement in the room above - toilet flushing in the middle of the night disturbed our sleep. The modern flat screen TV gave a good picture and sound but the number of channels available was very limited. Some of the main channels (BBC 1/2) had reception that was very poor and pixelated - the full range of 'free view' channels was not available. The sink in the bathroom was set at the highest height I have ever experienced - about 1.15 metres above floor level - obvoisly installed by a giant plumber.

Staff very friendly and helpful - restuarant service very efficient. Ideal location for a country manor - very well presented bearing in mind its histoical roots.

Only slight grumble was having two single mattresses pushed together in what we booked as a double room. Despite being covered by the same sheet etc it’s always very obvious when there’s a bit of a gap between them etc

Lovely property, and very nice grounds. Some of the decor is a bit dated, but very clean and comfortable. Very welcoming of our dog too!

Room furniture was tired and poor quality. Poor shower over bath set up. Evidence of severe damp on walls and no extraction in the bathroom

Really comfortable room and bed. Very good breakfast, really friendly and attentive staff. The place was spotless throughout.. Used the pool on our stay and facilities in the pool area were good.

Beautiful location, attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast was great and staff member went out of his way to serve us breakfast and cappucinos despite us being 30 minutes early to breakfast opening. Excellent value for money.

£30 per night for the dog is excessive. Most places charge around £20 or less.

Very good food. Able to eat with our dog, albeit not in the restaurant but we know to expect this anywhere. Good walks from the hotel. Nice if small swimming pool. Lovely grounds around the hotel and fields to exercise the dog.

In the Cresswelll room the main beam over the bed looked rather insecurely fitted. Breakfast was below par for a hotel of this standard.

Beautiful character house in a peaceful setting surrounded by lovely gardens with views. Swimming pool was lovely and we were lucky enough to have it to ourselves. Food was delicious and staff were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful

The countryside location was stunning, peaceful and lovely for a short break.
