Hairs left in shower. Paintwork shabby, torn headboard. Wall had tea,coffee stains running down it.

Friendly staff. Worked well under pressure. Resolved issues professionally.

I had called up to book afternoon tea a month before Our stay and unfortunately there was no record of this. We found the service wasn’t ideal, we asked for Prosecco and tea for each of Us and were served one tea and one Prosecco. Wait staff did not seem confident He may of been new. Also only choice of scones were with raisins which neither My friend or I liked.

The ‘lake’ was an overgrown swamp. Room was very overpriced (we stayed in kings deluxe) but was nothing special about it.

Not particularly clean. Fixtures and fittings somewhat scuffed and tired looking. Buffet style breakfast not great quality.

Very slow running hot water. Would have liked to be served tea or coffee at the table. Shortage of breakfast pastries, poor quality croissants, tasted stale.

breakfast as a bit hit and miss but filling sanua was not working and pool was a bit cold but steam room and jacuzzi were perfect.

Shower was cold. I had to let the water run for approx 15 minutes only to get the water to maybe lukewarm temperature... I did report that. Will sound silly, but - the toilet... it was so high that my feet were barely touching the floor when sitting, and I am 175cm tall... Silly, but uncomfortable... I do not think I ever used a seat that high... The third item on the bad side of things, room was fairly small, but did not need it large, yet at nights it was quite cold in a room - and it was not a freezing temperature outside... With that said, if I will have to go for another work visit, there is a chance I will use it again...

On the positive side of things it was all that I did need from the hotel itself. I had good meals, breakfast was quite good, dinners as well. Also on the positive side, I did travel with a dog, and I had no problem in the hotel. There was certain choice of items for breakfast, and all of those that I tried were tasty.

Gym was quite small

Room was comfortable and good value for money. Breakfast was good and liked the later time on the weekend. Facilities was good such as pool and sauna.

the hotel looked a little tired from the outside and could do with a paint. we have stayed in quite a few double tree hotels over the years but we didn't find this value for money, The beds wernt very comfortable, we had a massive gap in our window which allowed a draft in, the bathroom floor tiles were missing grouting and the fan was caked in dust. rooms really need some TLC. we are also disappointed that the pool was freezing. the restaurant wasn't opened and again if we had know that we probably wouldn't have booked this hotel as we really wanted a nice meal together.

the staff were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them, however we did ask for some cheese and biscuits one evening and they explained they could only do burger or chips which we found a little strange. the location was really good also and close to the town

The first room was too far from the health suite and bar, and with little children, there was way too much walking. Also, there was a bad smell and no view.

The Health Suite and especially the Sauna for myself and the pool for the kids. The staff members where nice and let us switch rooms and the first room was not great and too far from the health suite.

It was a bit of a hike to get to the room. The room was far too hot when we arrived. We had to open the windows and turn down the thermostat. Bathroom was a bit small.

Quick and easy check-in. The staff were very pleasant. Room was very spacious, with very large and comfy bed. Breakfast was great.

Lovely stay, the room was really lovely, the bed was so comfy, had a little issue with the breakfast, which was lovely and the staff resolved it straight away, nice location and a great pub just outside the door where we ate was great food also, we had dinner at the hotel on the 1st night, which was ok but really expensive, would visit again, and they are refurbishing soon, so will go again, but it does need some tlc

We had a cosy room and the only sockets were behind the bedside lamps which required a contortionist to reach them or under the TV , which wasn't suitable for plugging in technology. To use the kettle we had to go behind the bedside table which had to be moved out to reach the socket. Very unsatisfactory and would stop us using that sort of room again
