United KingdomLack of in room tea coffee etc, 4 of those small but pots 4 2 people you need at least 5 for 1 drink. Tea/coffee tray not well stocked. We had half board but there was much confusion about what was included in evening meal. Spa was very tired looking changing room floors dirty hair all over floor lockers not working rust very neglected.

United KingdomSome of the basic finishing in the bathroom wasn't great and there was a miserly amount of shower gel which wasn't topped up. There was a problem with the coffee machine on both mornings which meant the only coffee option tasted like instant coffee from a flask.
Cheltenham is a very nice place, worth a visit. We would go there again. Hotel was OK. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast was good and there was a good variety, it wasn't cheap though. The bed was comfortable. There is a fitness area but we didn't have time to use it so can't comment on how good it is. Parking was included.

United KingdomThe garden needed some attention, not like the picture. Hanging baskets needed refreshing all dead, and high dead weeds around the lake. We were going to sit in the pagoda as it was a nice day but it was very dirty and also parts of the hotel need updating especially the entrance to the property from the side car park.
Room was lovely and they decorated the bed with petals and towels heart shaped for our anniversary.

United KingdomTHe room did not have enough space for 2 Guests to unpack their suitcases and hang up their clothes. It was too compact and budget-like. Had difficulty connecting to the wifi. The "Lake" needs attention, it resembles an overgrown pond. No dressing gowns provided so had to get dressed between bedroom and Spa. For price would expect a white towling dressing gown to be provided for guest's use.
The breakfast was good. Was able to easily park in the car park. I liked the chocolate biscuite given on arrival. Enjoyed the Spa facilities.

United KingdomSignage could have been better for the reception and also parking as we got a bit confused with the clock tower parking. Breakfast availability could have been slightly better as the first morning we went a bit later at 9:00 and was due to finish at 11 and there wasn’t as much as there was if you were to go early, however the breakfast was still lovely.
Really nice location with good facilities to eat and relax (The Pool). Staff were excellent. Overall a nice stay. It’s not far from the hotel to nice locations for things to do.

United KingdomRoom was fairly tatty and needs renewing, decorating . Couldnt close the windows. Asked for a gown to use to wealk to the pool, never arrived, so had to use my room towel. Asked for a VAT receipt and was told that as i had booked through Booking.com, they cpouldnt provide - now i dont know where i have to go to get this

United KingdomThe upgrade I payed for , from a king to a king deluxe was not worth the upgrade. We was told the upgrade is because of the view of the garden ! Unless I was stood at the windows all I could see what the balcony wall .
The food was spot on and the staff made that hotel . A young lad called Joe in the restaurant was amazing and we tipped him as he made our experience exceptional. Joe is an asset to the hotel and I’d be keeping him on as long as possible . That lad needs a pay rise !
