Shame the room doesn't have / guests don't have access to a TV. - For a longer stay, this might prove to be a bit disappointing. (Wifi worked well though, so programmes can be viewed on a phone or laptop.)

Very friendly, accommodating host in a beautiful, cozy, home that is generously shared with guests, in a very quirky, quaint, historic village, in a very pretty part of England. Excellent, clean and high-quality interior/furnishings... the house has loads of character, including a gorgeous, calm and friendly dog! Very well kept and pretty garden opposite. Absolutely superb breakfast and the host was very accommodating with food requests.

Francesca is a wonderful host, making the stay feel like a home from home experience. The location is excellent, hidden away but only 2 miles from Totnes. The room was beautiful and made you feel like it was a real treat to be there, comfortable and quiet with excellent ensuite facilities and own stairs. Breakfast was perfect and vegetarians catered for without a problem. Felt so welcome and will definitely recommend it to all my friends and family. Thank you too to Bella, an incredibly friendly dog x

There was nothing to dislike apart from the weather.

The location was beautiful. The host greeted us on arrival and was fantastic, giving advice on places to eat and visit. The breakfast was on another level, superb. The bed was super comfy, lovely touches such as tea and coffee facilities, biscuits, mint and water in the room.listening to the church clock was lovely. Can't thank Francesca and the lovely Bella enough for a memorable stay.

A very peaceful, warm and welcoming stay. The bed was very cosy and comfortable and the lighting was relaxing. Francesca was very hospitable, as was her loving dog. She made me feel at home and checked what I wanted and needed. The breakfasts were delicious and it was lovely to try some local foods. I felt safe as Francesca adapted for my nut allergy too.

Absolutely nothing.

Beautiful, comfortable barn and charming, welcoming host! Francesca (and Bella the dog) could not have been better. Great cooked breakfast with fresh,local produce. Back in the area where I grew up for a funeral, lovely to revisit old haunts, see old friends, and Francesca was so kind and interested. If you are new to the area, so easy to access both coast and Dartmoor. Local pubs great, need to prebook The Cott in Dartington even midweek as very popular. Would highly recommend a visit to Church Barn!

Breakfast was amazing - freshly prepared fruits including at least 6 different varieties with Greek yoghurt. Quality sausage, bacon & eggs cooked to our preference. Toast & jams together with a cafetière of good coffee. Bed was lovely & comfortable with quality linens. Francesca an excellent host with an adorable dog Bella.

Nestled in a pretty village a couple of miles from Totnes this B&B is an idyllic get away. The host was warm and inviting, the room clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely sheets to sleep in. The host also has a gorgeous dog who loves cuddles (and breakfast tit bits) and is very much part of this B&B experience.

This is a great place to stay. The host is extremely friendly and makes her guests feel very welcome to her home. She also makes a great breakfast! The room is lovely and the bed is comfortable. The little village is interesting to wander around.
