Nothing it was a great holiday and a lovely cottage with loads of space.

Kids loved the tennis court and having loads of space the dog loved the closed in garden and it was nice and private and quiet without being secluded and quick drive to lots of different towns and beaches.

Convenient location for visiting Sidmouth and Lyme Regis. The cottage was peaceful, clean and comfortable.The only criticism being that it would have been nice to have a small selection of books and DVDs on offer for guests.(There are a few charity shops in Sidmouth where guests could buy these). It wasn't a big deal though. :) I would recommend Cider Cottage to families. It is nicely furnished and very cosy.

Would have been nice if the cottage was warm when we arrived, but to be fair we booked it 2.5 hours before we arrived. However we didn't get any heating until the morning when we figured out how to turn the radiators on.

Location was perfect for our break, WiFi connection was brilliant (very important to my teenager) dog friendly everywhere. Tennis court was in very good condition. Hosts very helpful, short walk into the village for the shop, pubs and takeaway. Can walk into Sidmouth on a footpath.

Cider Cottage was in a very idyllic location and close to Sidmouth shoppes, and Sidmouth's pebble beach and gardens.

there was a water leak in the lounge and kitchen/dinner which wasn’t nice to experience. Also the upstairs toilet sink was stained and very dirty. Was also very cold even with heating on.

The cottage is a little tired but nothing that can’t easily be updated. We didn’t see the hosts but they left detailed instructions on what they wanted us to do when we left.

Beautiful location and only a 10 minute drive from the seafront. One of a group of holiday cottages on a farm down a little lane. Plenty of parking and outside space. The kitchen was well equipped and the heating was efficient

It did feel a bit damp downstairs and the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. Very tight turning to get in and out of property and parking area could do with some maintenance. Some of the play equipment could be cleaned.

The number of bedrooms and types of beds (4 singles 1 king) were exactly what I needed being a single mum with 2 boys and travelling with grandparents. The upside-down layout of the property worked well.

Beautiful scenery and walks for the dog. Rustic feel, very warm and cosy! Can’t wait to come back again next year, home away from home couldn’t be happier 🥰 oh and the laundry smelled AMAZING! Check in and out was nice and easy!

Phone signal variable and local WiFi speeds a bit slow at 3Mbts/s still usable for WiFi calls and streaming radio without problems.

Main rooms very spacious, loved the ambiance and style of the living room. Double bed large, single rooms snug but good. Very quiet location and so close to Sidmouth.

Spiders. The cottages are old so it is understandable that you get a lot around, but don't let that put you off

Great cottage, lots of room, great garden/BBQ area. Lots of things for young children to do in the covered play area. There is also swings and a slide so the kids would never be bored if you decided to hang around the property.

This is a beautiful place, secluded but close to the town, the peaceful countryside was so relaxing. The cottage has a rustic charm with all the comforts of home. There are charging facilities for electric cars which was an added bonus.

There were numerous spiders in every room and I walked through webs when entering the lounge and kitchen. It's in the middle of the countryside so spiders are to be expected, but that many spiders and webs was a bit off-putting. It felt like the cottage hadn't been stepped in for weeks and the spiders had claimed it as their own. The kettle could do with de-scaling. Tea/coffee/sugar and basic condiments are not provided. The reason given for this is COVID.

Lovely old, cosy cottage. Comfy, extra large bed. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, cutlery, crockery and appliances. Clean. Plenty of towels provided, along with extra pillows and blankets. 10 minute drive into the lovely seaside town of Sidmouth. There is an Aldi and Lidl not too far away, and smaller shops in Sidmouth. Plenty of places to eat. I recommend Mocha for a proper breakfast.

The playground felt a bit run down and there were lots of nettles round the edge. The children loved it though; they didn't seem to notice.

Beautiful setting, grounds and garden. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. We really appreciated all the play equipment and games. It felt very safe for small children. Sidmouth was a short journey away -beautiful beach and nice town.

Kitchen and living room upstairs which took some getting used to but not a problem. Washing machine in a separate building but it was free and not an issue to use. Had to park away from cottage so short walk to car with bags, although can unload next to cottage on first arrival.

Location, kids playground and toys, peace and quiet, big grounds to explore, lots of space, lots of bathrooms. I would not hesitate to book again. It was lovely.

The WiFi signal meant we couldn't reliably watch netflix or iplayer. We had bought some dvds just in case, but there was no dvd player.

We chose the property partly for location, partly for its ev charger, having experienced some charging issues on previous uk breaks.

The shower pressure wasnt brilliant, however this is due to the local spring providing the water source. Even so, the water was hot and the accomodation was nice and warm

The location was perfect for what we wanted. We were a group of 4 green lane bikers, this location was a good jump off point for the local lanes.
