Noisy guests. I was in one of the first rooms and some of the drunken younger guests were noisy and disruptive- banging on doors - quite scary for a lone woman.

I like the spacious room ; clean and comfortable, and a modernised room that was really good.

'What did you like?' Everything! i.e.nothing went badly! We use this hotel quite regularly as we have relatives nearby. It gets better every time - quiet, clean, large well- maintained rooms, large shower/bathroom with powerful shower and gorgeous fluffy towels, large very comfortable bed, exceptional price which nowhere else seems to beat, ideal location for our purposes We'll be back! And thank you to Westmead.

It’s looking a little dated and in need of freshening up.

I’ve stayed here several times over the last 10 years and it’s very close to the motorway, very easy to find. The rooms are very spacious and there’s a good menu with a variety of meals.

The facilities for disabled guests were awful.. We had 2 flights of stairs to get to our room. The breakfast was awful too... cold coffee, cold tea, the food was cold too and, for nearly £15 each, not at all worth the money.

the room was clean and tidy and a lovely size. Bathroom was also really clean. The room was very quiet too. Plus the staff were amazing, when we asked for an ealrly check in they did everything to ensure we got what we wanted.

Shower was very slippy making it awkward to use. Although we booked as a couple. There was only sufficient soap, and toiletries for one person. On Saturday night, there appeared to be a wedding party and someone was smoking weed. The place stank of it, this permeated into our room and was awful, still lingering in the morning. The staff seemed oblivious to it? Also. No sockets near the bed! Couldn’t charge our phones next to us which was inconvenient and annoying.

Plenty of free parking spaces. Friendly staff, large room.

The heating it needs a better heating system and even though there is no smoking in the rooms when we came out of our room we could smell people smoking but couldn't see anyone so must have been smoking in their room???

The room was cold, I slept with the heating on all night. The walls are quite thin, I was woken up a few times. I had a king-sized bed, for just me, I would have preferred more floor space personally.

The room was clean and newly refurbished. It has tv, table and chairs and lots of storage space. tea-making facilities and some complimentary bathroom products. There is loads of parking and the bar is a nice size for meeting colleagues. Staff couldn't do enough.

Would be nice if a quick on-the go snack breakfast could be just bought...rather than an all or nothing breakfast.

No lift and lugging my case up and down the stairs was a real problem for me . I don’t travel light and haven’t recovered yet. I’ll be honest and say I didn’t check before booking and should have. The only other thing I was disappointed with was no bottled water in the room. Everything else was really good.

It was very near to where I was working and very easy to get to from the motorway . Bedrooms are roomy and the food on offer in the restaurant was delicious with plenty of choice. Staff from reception to the restaurant were lovely . I didn’t feel awkward at all staying in my own.

Little tired around the edges but always an improvement made to the last time we visited. Rooms are slowly being updated.

Great affordable hotel, we always stay here twice a year when we have to visit the area for work for the past 14 years. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar offers very good food with competitive prices to the pub down the road. The bar area is rather nice to relax in. Always clean which is the main plus.

Furniture outdated, Bed confortable, breakfast should be included in the proce of the room. Once toilet was flushed continously heard the refill running through the night.

The public rooms are a little plain and utilitarian looking. Very functional but if it's olde worlde charm that you're looking for you might be disappointed.

The hotel is situated literally 5 minutes from junction 2 of the M42, within easy striking distance of Birmingham and north Worcestershire. My room was no42, very clean and with a huge and very comfortable bed. The bathroom was well appointed with bath and overhead shower and very 'roomy'. I had not pre-booked breakfast but this was no problem, I could buy on spec on the morning. The staff are welcoming, especially the young man at Reception. Bar staff similarly so. I was there as a guest at an evening reception of a friend's Wedding; everyone seemed to have a great time. This seems to be an ideal venue for this kind of function.
