How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The restaurant in the hotel was slow and expensive
The room was great, expensive but close to the airport which was the point of our stay. Staff was friendly and super helpful regarding airport transportation.

Roof garden closed
Booked this hotel specifically for the roof top seating area to watch the planes but sadly we were not told it was closed

Nothing - all good
The upgraded room was fantastic - lots of space and very comfortable. The food in the Indian restaurant on the 6th floor was superb - well worth a visit in its own right! Great staff and obviously right in the heart of Heathrow.

The choices of food in the sky deck restaurant weren’t amazing. It would’ve been good to have some healthier choices.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The staff here really go out of their way to help. Bar and restaurant are very good. Breakfast was good enough. About the same as we get at most places of this level. Only thing is a small one- they could do with a real cappuccino machine :)

Buffet Breakfast not very warm. Only one bathrobe and bath towel provided for a booking for two people. Stayed here two years ago, standards have lowered.

the lady in the front desk didn't told me that i can buy a breakfast for a 11 pound instead of 16 pound that's why i paid 16 pound for the breakfast
it's was really nice the only problem is location but if you are going to use a bus it's not that deep overall it was nice

Not close to tube. Taxis bit of a wait.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. Shower has good power & towels were changed and rooms were cleaned everyday. We had a pleasant stay & will definitely come again.

The east Indian restaurant was exceptional. It was worth staying in this hotel just to have the incredible chicken starter.. It’s East Indian food with a modern twist. When travelling eight times out of 10 I am so disappointed with the comfort of the pillows at this hotel they surpassed my expectation, they were superb, incredibly comfortable and allowed for a really good nights sleep. The bathroom was great with a very nice newly refurbished, walk-in shower. There was a great bar with a walkout Terrace overlooking the airport the same could be said for the Indian restaurant, which also had a covered area, so even in February, you could sit outside, beautifully lit all in all an excellent experience for a night between flights

It looked clean over all, but the towels and bathroom had few hairs here and there. the bed has very soft curved ends, you fall sitting by the end, which was not comfortable while sleeping

Only problem was the breakfast quality wasn't great. Other than that, the hotel was nice. Gym is too small for me but would be sufficient for most.
Room - It's one of the best in style in the area. Very comfortable and temperature control goes to whatever temperature desired. Couldn't hear a thing in the room, so I can only assume the soundproofing is great. Gym - was small but quiet, well stocked with treadmills, some other cardio machines, a cable machine, dumbbells, a bench and mats. Water and towels are also provided. Close to the hotel are some restaurants to choose from, and a bowling alley too. Breakfast - cheap-ish for the area The 5th floor lobby has a nice view and seats for reading or just relaxing.
