Sat Nav had trouble finding the location. The bathroom in room 21 needs a deep clean, lots of mould near the shower/glass frame.

Convenient location for a business meeting, plenty of car park spaces. Received a warm welcome from the reception staff, especially from Esther. Had dinner on 3 occasions, food delicious and freshly cooked.

Would welcome comfy seating in bedroom, to sit and read (appreciate space maybe an issue). Bit stingy with teabags (2).

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good sized room. Comfortable bed. Plenty of parking space. Nice touch, cold, fresh water available at reception and ice lollies welcome on such a hot day.

We were passing through and this was a handy stopoff, so I’m not sure of any walkable nearby facilities, kids play areas etc as we didn’t seek them out

No nonsense and simple set up that works; friendly staff, handy location, accessible and in a leafy enclave. Rooms are v clean and serviceable

We were staying for a wedding. Our electric cut off shortly before we were leaving. We were moved but had to do it ourselves giving us little time to dry our hair, finish ironing etc. The room was a double when we had booked a king. Expected some kind of compensation for the disruption, not even offered a complementary breakfast.

The staff were lovely, especially Ester.

Stayed 2 nights, the room cleaning was a bit half hearted, one bin emptied, one mug washed etc.... nothing major though! The restaurant was expensive over £18 pounds for macaroni cheese.....

Room was booked at short notice & was cleaned at short notice by the young lady who was also the same person who was dealing with the front desk This resulted in hher having to run up & down the staris , the room being ready being delayed & not cleaned to the best standards There needed to be better planning around staff availability There was no complaint from the staff member who was excellent in her interactions with us But it resulted in our having late access to a room that needed better preparation & cleaning

We had a great stay, the staff were great, check in was friendly and quick. The room was very nice and slept really well in the comfy bed. Breakfast was very nice and the choice on offer was great. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks

The room was rather airless. It was a hot day and the window only opened a fraction and there was no air conditioning.

With the best intention, the waiting staff in the restaurant could do with some training. Their customer service skills lead a lot to be desired. One of our main courses came out wrong & although it was dealt with swiftly, the chef kept coming out of the kitchen and was clearly disgruntled (making some very rude eye glances across the restaurant). The barmaid that took our payment was sarcastic & used industry jargon that confused one of our party who was then made to feel stupid for not knowing what she meant.

The room was great, perfect for our two dogs to come with us on holiday! We had a lovely welcome from the reception team who couldn't have made us feel more at home. The shared social spaces were comfortable.

Some coat hooks in the bedroom when entering would be good.

Bed comfortable and room large- Liked the reading light. Good selection at breakfast and tasty cooked choice. Although, we only paid for breakfast it was good to see the option of ordering meals late into the evening.

Friendly staff, very welcoming. Room very clean and tidy. Air condition would be advantageous as well as extractor fan in bathroom but these are minor issues. Very nice food morning and evening
