Passing the hotel on mainroad makes you think its closed. Very grey and not looking open. Maybe its due to early in the season?... Some flowers, colours, i dont know, but something that make hotel look more welcoming 😄😀

The only problem was that the duvet on the bed wasn't thick enough - fine for summer, but once the central heating went off it wasn't warm enough, so at midnight I had to get up and put another thin layer of clothing on. The bed itself was firm and comfortable, the pillows fine, it just needed a thicker duvet, or a blanket or two. (Possibly there were blankets hidden somewhere, but I couldn't find them.)

Very welcoming and well-organised place on the outskirts of this busy tourist town. Excellent views from my bedroom and from the dining room. Excellent shower (very important when you've been in the hills!). Excellent breakfast and very friendly, sensible staff. Good room heating (very important in a Highlands winter). Wifi worked fine.

Very friendly, efficient staff. Quiet location, just a 10 minute walk to the picturesque town. Comfy, spacious room. Good parking. Great breakfast. We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening. The food was very flavoursome and beautifully cooked, but a bit overpriced. Overall, a good place to stay en route to the Highlands.

The bar area has music over weekends which is very loud when trying to sleep. The staff were kind enough to turn it lower.

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff, room was clean and comfortable, good power in the shower. Bonus was the restaurant being open in the evening which I wasn't expecting, the house curry was excellent! View from the restaturant at breakfast was great too!

Value for money hotel- Room bit small and so was the bathroom but does the job absolutely fine! TV/ WiFi did not work though we did not need it so did not ask about it- I am sure they will have come fix it straight away A few more plugs in rooms would be helpful

Although the room had a radiator which was nice and warm the room got very cold due to excessive draughts coming from the large window which spoiled things, had we been staying more than one night I would have asked to be moved to another room. The dining room was freezing in the morning and we had to ask that the radiator at the side of our breakfast table was activated. The breakfast itself was of a decent standard but the tea was awful as the water used was warm rather than hot. I would however stay here again during the warm months as it's a lovely hotel and apart from the cold and a lousy cup of tea, perfect.

Lovely large room, well furnished with a very comfortable large double bed and spacious bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean.
