On the last night we were kept awake by someone talking/messing until about 10pm (I have a young child so that was quite tiring for him/me), the person was also quite audibly swearing which obviously I didn’t want my son to pick up on (surprising as it was a polite clientele around the hotel :)). They then were snoring the rest of the night which was so loud it felt like they were in the room. I put on a white noise machine but could still hear it, so it was pretty loud. I was travelling on my own with a small child so it did make my stay more tiring.

Good location and near the tramway down the slope which is nice and under 5s ride free. Nice pool that was not crowded and quite long period of time when kids swimming was allowed. Convenient bar and restaurant onsite. Staff were very pleasant. Would be nice to have water provided in the rooms. Room service was good and food suitable for whole family.

Continental breakfast was not replenished so if you’re not early for breakfast you are penalised and have to have what’s left on your plate.

The biggest bonus of the hotel is that it has got sauna and swimming pool included with the room reservation. The hotel is reasonably clean. I stayed there twice. The first time the kettle in the room was not working and the bathroom was rather well used but all worked fine. Bed was comfortable and of good quality. The second time I stayed in a newly refurbished room and the room was immaculate and included TV in the bathroom. The hotel is of walking distance from the town centre and from the beach (around 15-20 minutes walk if you fancy a walk). Parking was on the nearby street and the hotel kindly provided a local parking disc for a small fee of £2.50. The staff was helpful, polite and professional. In my view this is a good hotel and I would stay there again, mainly for the swimming pool and sauna.

Toilet made strange gurgling noises at night and the colour of the bathroom floor made it looks dirty (it wasn't but it looked it). No room service.

Breakfast !! We read a notice put up in the lift explaining busy quiet times, so decided to go in at 10.a.m as it said busy 9-10 we expected a queue, no queue not busy, but no tables cleaned, we found a table half dressed, no knifes no milk as coffee was brought out of date yoghurt, It was changed.no bread 1 we did get some to make toast and was told we were last orders for hot breakfast !! The notice in the lift told us 10-11 was the quietest, we were up showered by 9 and packed. So did not go in last minute as we would of gone in earlier !And after all that the breakfast was cold !! but the plate was piping hot, we were warned about the [plate. So all in all bad food,

Every thing was fine. My hairdryer was replaced although the one in the room was fine and it was user error that could not get it working. The house keeping team showed me how to work it, they were very helpful and assured me that others had struggled also.

Location perfect for where we needed to be. Room right at the top, good size space, comfortable and coloured mood lighting. All facilities present, tea and coffee, ironing board, even a fridge and safe. Breakfast good choice for things with good friendly service at breakfast and the late bar.

We had a good stay but it was spoiled on the last day which was my birthday by reception who had promised my husband flowers and chocolates delivered to our room, only to be told on my birthday they hadn't done it cos they were too short staffed!!! Disappointed to say the least as you can imagine. So because of this we will not be staying there again.

The room was good it was spacious and comfortable. The spa facilities were OK just a bit dated. The staff were pleasant.

The sea view room we were upgraded to had tremendous views across the South bay. Room and bathroom very clean and comfortable. Bar/ lounge very comfortable for relaxing with food or drinks.

The pillows were flat and uncomfortable, the guests in the next room were making loads of noise past 12 midnight and they started making loads of noise at 6am.

Location is very good,the use of the swimming pool, sauna and steam room was a bonus

Little dirty and dusty on bathroom floor in corners and no toilet roll holder which was a biggy for my 5 year little girl in the middle of the night toileting whilst half asleep.

Lots of space, staff were unbelievably nice and so helpful. Beautiful hotel.

Main light wouldn’t turn off. Wouldn’t let us check-in any earlier than 3pm and not asked if we’d like to wait in any area such as bar etc so we felt uncomfortable and sat outside in the cold for an hour.
