The road was noisy but you're going to get that in most places where you get lochside accommodation just off the very busy A82.

The one bedroom apartment was absolutely lovely. Downstairs there was a comfortable living area with couch, flat screen TV and kitchen with everything you need for a self catering stay. The shower room is downstairs and well maintained with a large shower. Upstairs is the double bedroom with a velux window that gives views south over Loch Lomond. Outside there are seating areas that guests can use.

We had a great stay here, the apartment and location are beautiful, with gorgeous views over the water, and it’s an excellent base for hillwalking in the area. Patrick’s hospitality and attentiveness as a host were second to none and really made the trip special. We had an ace time getting a tour of the loch in his boat. Would highly recommend booking a stay here!

The property was easy to find, just off the main road and overlooked the beautiful lochs and hills. The property is within walking distance to Luss from where you can take a boat ride to other islands. The nearest supermarket is approx 20 mins drive away. Our host, Patrick was very friendly and helpful.

Patrick is a friendly and welcoming host! Our accommodation had a balcony overlooking Loch Lomond and the kitchen/TV room have views right out on to the Loch so you can enjoy it whatever the weather. Well equipped kitchen and good local recommendations. Would love to stay again.

Everything was perfect.

It was one of the best holidays we had. The location was excellent. The host was very friendly, and helped us with all the questions. He even provided us with a private guided tour with his boat. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The layout of our apartment was a bit odd - we had two rooms either side off a main kitchen/living room but the living room didn't have the view which was a slight shame. However, we were there for an event locally so hanging out in the living space wasn't a priority.

Amazing location by the loch and very friendly host. Convenient for Luss. Good instructions for finding the property. Plenty of usable stuff in the kitchen and the host kindly left some milk for us which was great. If we had been there longer we'd have liked to go out on Patrick's boat :)

The sink in the bathroom is a bit small. Water splashes out quite easily. Shower is the rainfall shower head. Those who don't want to wash your hair should bring along a shower cap.

A very well maintained accommodation with one of the best lake views around the area. Looks better and newer than the published photos. Like what previous guests have said, Patrick is a very nice and friendly host.

Couldn't fault

Location is outstanding and view from cottage was amazing. Patrick, the owner, was an brilliant host who did everything to ensure our stay was special. He took us for a boat trip on the loch which was fantastic and would highly recommend. It's not every day that you can get picked up by boat outside your cottage and arrive for lunch in style. Will definitely be back.

Enjoyed a wonderful night's stay at Culag Lochside... accommodation was beautiful and immaculate. It's right on the water which is what we came for and needed to recharge... so great accommodation and fantastic setting views... if it's grand at the beginning of March,  just wait until (proper) Spring and Summer... highly recommend and will be back
