The stairs to the top floor go on for forever

Nice stuff, the cleaner who looks after the room every day is exceptional, it’s like a brand-new room every day.

We were doing the coastal path walk and breakfast from 8am was a little late for us. Electrical storage heaters in the room are not great if you have wet clothes from hiking in the rain all day and need to dry them. Didn't have any shampoo just soaps.

Was a good location for us, staff were friendly and helpful, even put some of our wet clothes in the dryer for us. Breakfast serve was great and the selection was good.

There was plenty of choice for a full English breakfast. No Continental breakfast choices. Service was excellent but hotel not busy when we went.

No lifts and has a minor issue with ants which was dealt with by the staff.

It’s a fantastic location in Gorey Harbour with easy access to the bus system. The breakfast was excellent and there is a very good restaurant if you want more.

Cold room with heater not powerful enough, fine for warmer times of the year I'm sure. Room door lock was dodgy, found you needed to lock from inside then shut door and it would be fine.

Atmosphere, staff, food and drink facilities and bed comfort

I had a good cooked breakfast. It would have been nice to have had the option of yoghurt to start with.

The loud music on two nights of our stay was disagreeable, but the manager responded very positively when we complaqined. There were no other problems at all.

Breakfast was excellent at all times. Evening meals were excellent with service generally good, somewhat variable due to the level of diners.

Easy to find hotel, very friendly staff, breakfast is simple but good, main evening meal is very good (but can be expensive,). Rooms are cleaned every day and so always clean. Enough space and a relaxing bed to sleep in. Location is easy to get to with the bus or by car and itself is a amazing location near the castle.

Live music, but only on Friday evening, from their bar below, but only until 11pm. Bar a good humoured, happy place.

Excellent menu and quality of food, with excellent good old fashioned service that was amazing. They were so polite, friendly and attentive. And all this for a 3-star hotel.

I should have asked more about the room when booking. No lift (second floor room but someone carried our luggage up)

The location was lovely, by the harbour with tables outside for eating or having a drink. Bus stop immediately opposite. Quieter than St Helier/St Aubin and picturesque. Staff really good. Food good and generous. Room and shower room clean but no view (light well). Mont Orgueil Castle very well worth a long visit. I would definitely go to this hotel again.
