Not clear that this was an annex to Dovedale hotel. Would have been really useful to know, especially as parking (Dolphin st) and breakfast was at main hotel (1min walk from Dolphin rooms) . Take care of one way system.

Room clean and comfortable. Hotel standard in terrace house close to sea front - perfect if staying longer than one night. Full breakfast good and served quickly.

we were running late and had to pay £25 per room late fee 2 rooms one of our party for the two rooms was down to Play an event traffic meant we didn’t get to cleethorpes till 12ish in the rush to get to the event we left a key in one of the rooms costing another £25 so £75 extra for a few hours sleep was a bit of a pain but guess that’s our fault

The room wasn't spotless, there was a significant mark on the wall where someone had hit it.

I loved the location, it was very cheap considering we were a 5 min walk away from the beach front! I also liked that it was a separate set of rooms from the rest of the hotel, it felt much more like a regular home, which was cosy.

We stayed in the annex. The staff went above and beyond to stay open the reception for us. The annex was a terraced house which was converted to hotel standard rooms.

The location was not very nice on first impression. Didn’t realise the room was just in a house and not a “hotel” and the breakfast would be down the road.

The room on the inside was lovely, comfortable and clean.

Only thing that made me not sleep is the shower was dripping and running all night and i like it to be very quite so i didnt get much sleep but apart from this it was a brill stay

In our room,Bathroom facilities not up to standard. Shower not very good. Broken tiles. Decor in bedroom behind door, hole taped over and painted !

The parking, have to park close up behind someone so you have to move to let them out (got called at 1:30am to move the car to let the car in front out) The kettle was a little dusty and doesn’t look like it had been cleaned (wasn’t bothered as i wasn’t interested in using it) The bathroom was a little small a little difficult to use the toilet as was a bit cramped (but that could just be because i was a little drunk hahah)

The jacuzzi bath was amazing and so relaxing after a night out for my birthday. The bedroom was a decent size a with a good sized tv. The staff were really friendly and helpful (i had an issue booking as i tried to book for the 9th of December but on my confirmation email it said the 1st of December so i called up and they cancelled the original booking so i could rebook for the correct date) Since staying here me and my partner have been talking about staying again because we fell in love with the bath! The bed was also very comfortable however it did squeak a lot..

It was ok for us, but the heating wasn't on, even though we'd turned them on - I did let the receptionist know as we were checking out, just incase it was a problem. Mould on the wall in the top of the shower, but understand in a room without a window to ventilate it, only a fan, that this can happen.

The TV was a wee bit small and placed really high on the wall. Couldnt really see it properly from the bed (as it was small) and you couldn't really sit close to it as it was too high. The parking isnt guaranteed and when you have a brand new car its a bit worrying. Spent a long time driving around the streets on occasion looking for a safe space to park. The Dolphin room description is confusing as I was directed to a hotel in another street.. The rooms look nothing like the advertising.

The room and bathroom were of a good size and I was able to control the heating. I liked the fact that the Dolphin rooms isnt the little brick house in dolphin street and is in fact a hotel. A little confusing but a pleasant finding.
