Bathroom lighting v poor for doing make up etc.. Breakfast was rubbish.. grumpy staff, no help, poor choice, food overcooked and some food run out and not replaced, fried eggs were both weirdly rubbery yet jelly/not cooked centre.. v hard to achieve that! No dairy free milk..little choice of food , over-priced and basically woefully inadequate.. should have gone to local cafe..

The one towel was dirty. Room service forgot to refill coffee capsule on the 2nd day. Unfortunately, when I first entered the room, I found a used coffee capsule near the extra bed. The faucet at the sink has separate hot and cold water, which is not convenient to use.

The room layout is very good. Staff are very helpful. Good location. There was a touching welcome message on the TV screen.

A bit haphazard. Housekeeping not good first night and then much improved after we told reception. Some ingredients at the bar out of stock. Water filter broke down and no alternative offered

No bedside power socket to charge my phone. The bathroom had those horrible bottles of gel/shampoo stuck to the wall rather than individual bottles.

The spacious and comfortable room overlooks the river. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice and good-quality produce. The bed was huge and comfortable. The shower was nice. The location is great, just a five-minute walk to all the shops, bars, and cafes.

More expensive than I expected for an ok hotel room, nothing exceptional. Couldn't get any reception on TV to get the local news and had to sign into own account for TV iplayers. Online media advertises a pool but apparently there isn't one now, very misleading.

underfloor heating in the bathroom! Next time it would be nice to have a better view. Not great signage in the carpark for exit. I found the temperature control a bit confusing.

the bed was incredibly comfy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We loved the bath products. The coffee machine was a real bonus especially as we had an early start.

We like the room cool so had little heating on which meant we needed a blanket, none stocked in the room. Managed to get one for the following night. Location was excellent near all the places we were visiting. Breakfast was good. Sue, worked in the bar and at breakfast, was very helpful with advise on local area.

Although breakfast was satisfactory, it was somewhat unimaginative. Towels in the room were not the best we have seen on the trip, though perfectly adequate.

Excellent location very close to the centre of town. Bed and pillows were delightful. Also, great location being able to look out of your window down onto the river..

Only one office chair in the room - another small armchair would have been nicer. Overall, for 2 people, the room was quite small.
