The parking can be a nightmare at times due to a lot of the spaces taken with work vans. We were charged over £249 for a 2 night stay (mon - wed) where as my son and daughter were charged £167 for a 2 night stay (fri - sun) ??

Noise of traffic which is not hotel's fault, room had extra sliding windows to prevent noise, which was great until you opened windows which we had to because very warm in room, needs air con, traffic became light around 1/2am, room number 524, I would book again but on the other side of building

Great location for visiting Warner bros studio tour with our family. As we were traveling with bikes on the back of our car, we asked the staff if it was possible to keep the bikes in a safe location in the hotel and they were more than happy to oblige, even helping us to retrieve them early in the morning on our depart. Rooms were clean and comfy and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good too, great value for for money when included in the price of the room. This was the 3rd time we stayed at this hotel and we would definitely stay again.

In the morning ground floor door leading towards car park were locked and exit button didn’t work. There was no receptionist available at that time. Lift did not work and I had to use staircase with all suitcases to go upstairs to use other doors.

Shower water was fairly cold, but that's more a personal preference as I like my water hot.

The lift was out of action. I arrived with my foot dressed and bandaged and a Piccline in my arm and chest due to ongoing treatment to discover I had to lug a heavy suitcase up five flights of stairs to my room. The reception staff offered to help as did my young colleague but I couldn't have allowed them to lift something so heavy. I know it was unlucky that it broke down that morning and needed parts ordering but maybe having more than one lift would avert such problems. The free WiFi was patchy so I used my iPhone data to run my laptop. The breakfast was nice but no proper decaffeinated coffee (other than instant) in the machines which I am supposed to drink.

The room was fine. Breakfast was nice apart from no decaffeinated coffee and the staff, without exception, were lovely, helpful and attentive.

It was starting to look a bit tired and dated particularly for the price. However, given you are close to London, close to some UK attractions and next to a train station that is 28 minutes from London you can understand why the price is what it is. The breakfast was also slightly disappointing with limited hot options.

Staff were excellent and hotel met my needs. Nice location close to Hemel centre and very clost to Apsley station if you are heading to London. Bonus having a free car parking also available.

Breakfast was awful. No voice of eggs ie: fried or poached. Sausages not cooked properly and beans, tomatoes and mushrooms were cold. Not impressed at all.
