Travelling by car, the house was easy to find in a quiet street not far from the town center. The parking facilities were very good and we felt secure leaving our sports car parked infront of the house. The welcome and general experience of the B&B has been first class. We have travelled widely in the UK and have experienced a full range of B&B establishments. My wife and I agree that this visit to Edendale House has to be rated as one of the best. Outstanding! Thank you.

Everything was to a high standard.

With 2 adults and 2 children to reach a venue for a christening for 9.30am we did'nt have time for breakfast which smelled lovely from the kitchen. The owners were very friendly and helpful we would stay here again.

Very comfortable stay with friendly hosts. Scrupulously clean and bedroom had everything I needed. Fresh cold milk for making tea and coffee in the room was a very thoughtful extra touch. Great breakfast too. Nice quiet location, but only a short walk away from Southport shops and restaurants.

I cant say there was anything I didnt like but be prepared the bathrooms are not en-suite but are private. A short hop across the landing is required and dressing gowns are provided for this purpose.

A little walk from the centre but we managed, we had the top floor family room 7 but it wasn’t too bad.

The bathroom was lovely and clean with well stocked shelves of toiletries. It was a little on the small side, but there was enough room to do what we needed to do.

The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We were offered warm drinks on arrival and directed to our rooms. Shortly after arrival, our drinks were delivered. The room was spacious, lovely, and clean with everything that we'd need for our stay. The complementary drinks tray in the room was well stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits, hot chocolate, and sugars/substitutes with mints. There were mugs and glasses and a bottle of water to fill the kettle. They even had an honesty fridge in the foyer, with a price list on the door. The fridge also contained extra milk in there incase it was needed. A peaceful night's sleep in a very large and comfortable bed. The breakfast was amazing with lovely, freshly cooked produce. We would absolutely stay here again.

Heating could have been reduced earlier, room was very warm up to midnight.

I could not find any faults with this stay.

The Breakfast experience was exceptional. It was one of those places that had got it right and some more. A great menu where you help your self to cereals, fruit cocktail, yogurt etc. Fresh coffee and tea brought to you, The cooked breakfast was done to perfection and once again there was choices. toast and jams also. I could go on and on but I think you can see where I am coming from. The bedroom was ensuite , travelling solo a single room is ideal for me and this was no exception.

A fabulous guest house in a convenient location for the town and seafront. Easy parking on the driveway, very welcoming hosts and a lovely room with 2 comfy armchairs and a super-comfy bed. The breakfast was excellent - plenty choice and generous piping hot servings. We would stay again if we find ourselves back in the area.
