The apartment could do with a good clean and maybe needs a freshen up all round ie walls painted, skirtings refreshed or painted, carpet in one of the bedrooms was stained. It just seemed a little tired all round.

The location of the apartment was perfect. Just a short distance to walk to jump on the trams into the centre of the city or have a roam around the area of the apartment. Free Parking is always a bonus in the city.

2 sets of keys was not enough, wifi was weak and often not available. Upstairs neighbors were extremely noisy and moving furniture late at night. Staff was difficult when we asked for additional linens.

Spacy and cozy apartment in a quiet section of otherwise busy part of Edinburgh. The main advantage is the location, aboslutely perfect - restaurants, public transport, connection to airport, shops, and bars are in a short walk distance from the apartment. We were 6 adult people and we were really satisfied.

One of the mattresses had been flipped to coils up, rather than the mattress topper, but we fixed that.

Check in and out was great. The friendly manager made it easy, and the location was fabulous. It was quiet and comfortable.

The pictures were deceiving. We were in unit 4 and the bedrooms were so tiny, there was about 1cm gap between the open door and the bed... so difficult to get in and out of the rooms. And what made it more frustrating was that all the doors close automatically, making it even more difficult to get back out! All the nicer pictures shown in the posting do not exist in this unit. It is very misleading and I felt badly that I booked it for our group as it was not up to our standards. The floors felt quite dirty.

The location was excellent with many restaurants and shops close by. Parking was excellent. Kitchen and livingroom were good.

It was a little creaky and noisy. You could hear people walking around upstairs, as well as conversations taking place in other rooms in the flat. However this is a building construction issue and unavoidable

The Haymarket Residence is in a great location, just a short walk from the tram station and surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops. The flat was clean and bright and well-equipped.

There was no lift and we weren't made aware of this before staying there. This meant that we had to try carry a large suitcase up the stairs. The people in the above apartment were "enjoying each other's company" a bit too much very regularly that it shook the ceiling and light a lot. It was obvious that it wasn't general walking around etc.

We were walked to our apartment and shown in. The man doing this was super friendly and nice. It was really close to the train station, as well as a nice co op, pubs and some restaurants too.
