We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GuernseyA broken seat on the toilet, which front desk said would one fixed before the next guest. A small thing that would gave made the world of difference ---- fresh milk for tea
Dinner was VeryGood. Not all of the menu was available, but the quality of food was excellent. Breakfast was. excellent too. My wife had fresh fruit - a mixture of melon and pineapple. The full English was freshly cooked and couldn't be faulted.

United KingdomIt’s always a pleasure staying at Ellington Lodge. Always helpful, welcoming staff. It’s always a nice experience staying there when you are attending a gig at the Concorde Club. Always great food next door at The Fig. You feel like you’re on a little holiday where everything is on site! We got food delivered late in the evening to the hotel and the gentleman on reception noticed this and offered us plates. Nice little touch I thought.

We always stay here when flying from Southampton. It’s very close to the airport. The rooms are little dated but nice and very comfortable. The bed is great and good shower. Breakfast is always a good choice and quality ingredients(as is dinner if you have it in restaurant). Good value for money and we’d certainly recommend it. Staff are always most friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThis is a lovely friendly hotel on the edge of Eastleigh Country Park. Staff are really pleasant and helpful and that includes housekeeping. I had a lovely double room with garden terrace and a good size en suite with a walk in shower. Everywhere was really clean, the bed was super comfy and I had a large tv with loads of channels, apps etc. Breakfast was really good and the staff really nice. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you for a super stay Ellington Lodge 😃

It’s ok. No complaints but wouldn’t stay more than one night unless they improve facilities. It’s basically a “motel” . At least add some vending machines, coffee machine, ice. I would stay again if attending an event nearby or next door .

We have stayed here before several times as a pre-departure or post-arrival stopover having used the ferry to Spain from Portsmouth. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We arrived very late following a sailing delay and were dealt with most kindly by Dave-the night porter. Breakfast is excellent and comprehensive. Parking ? I could see the vehicle from our bedroom in the private car park. Our first choice in the area.

United KingdomThe car park was very muddy and boggy in places. Our room had an adjoining door to the room next door which was thankfully locked but unfortunately could hear the conversations of the guests next door.
Excellent staff, lovely evening meal at The Moldy Fig, enjoyable entertainment during dinner, very good breakfast, comfortable bed and good en-suite. Location was ideal for Eastleigh football club where we attended a Christmas Ball.

United KingdomI was expecting to have breakfast included in the cost - that was what Booking.com had originally advertised - but when I got there it wasn't included after all. No big deal - breakfast is only £12.95 and there's plenty of it. There was some renovation going on in the hotel itself which meant that the carpets were covered in protective coverings - extra care needed on the stairs! - but again, this didn't impact on my stay in any way.
I've stayed here several times before and always enjoy it - the staff are very friendly and there is a unique atmosphere to the place, as well as easy access both to local walks and short journeys into Southampton and Winchester. The room is comfortable and food good and reasonably priced.
