Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandThe room was smaller than photos led me to believe. The bathroom facilities are in the same room separated by a screen but it’s obviously not sound proof so there’s not a lot of privacy. There are no wardrobe facilities just a hook or two to hang a coat. To add to that on Saturday morning around 10am there was a lot of drilling and hammering which didn’t make for a pleasant wake up call.
The location was really handy!

United KingdomThe set up of the room isn’t the most practicable with the tea/coffee facilities under the clothes rail and close to the floor. The rail for hanging clothes is also not the best.
Friendly staff, nice restaurant, brilliant bathroom in the room and the room was very clean. Nice and close to two underground stations aswell.

United KingdomIt was a little bit cramped in terms of space for your luggage and hanging clothes, so I would not recommend if you are staying for a longer stay (you won't have anywhere for your case)
I was really surprised. I thought I had made a mistake when I first saw where it was located (I knew the area pretty well). It was really comfy, quiet, efficient, staff were charming and the location is excellent for getting aorund in central London as its between Euston, Warren Street and Kings Cross/St Pancras. Also, if you like curry, Drummon street is one of THE places to go in London (indeed one of the original places to go in the late 50s, early 60s)

United KingdomDon’t drink the tap water unless you already live in London or boil it. Im from Manchester I I thought the water would be fine to drink, it’s warm coming out of cold tap and tastes not great then gave me violent tummy pains just like when I’ve drink water abroad.
Could do with a touch of paint but you can tell the cleaners do an excellent job. It was clean.
