Unfortunately the jacuzzi was out of order on our visit.

Love the location, rooms, food and staff friendliness at this hotel. The fact that it has a small leisure facility is a bonus.

Didn't seem much to do in the surrounding area, however, our main priority was a bed for the night.

Details of the room could’ve been much more accurate and I would not have had to book 2 separate rooms. One of the rooms had a separate bedroom which we were not told about. We didn’t see this until we got there and were in the room. In the second room, the toilet was malfunctioning which was quite an inconvenience.we asked for rooms together but we were not together. In fact they were at the opposite ends of the hotel which again was inconvenient.

Location was a good and the room size was good. Staff were attentive, especially the staff serving breakfast who could not have of been more helpful. The breakfast was good value and of good quality and plenty of it.

Last time we stayed we had a walk in shower which was ideal as I have mobility issues. This time it was a shower over the bath. I will make sure I request this facility next time.

Room was dark due to small window which had plants growing in front of it so hardly any daylight. Pillows were flat and limp so no support.

Good location to the beach. Easy stroll to Town. Very clean and staff very friendly and helpful . Shower was lovely and powerful.

We booked a table for evening meal which was only average and the wine was the same. We also tried to get into the room earlier but was not possible as the hotel was very busy.

We were surprised that there was no information in the room as to local attractions and instructions for the wifi etc.

An extremely comfortable Hotel in an ideal location for Dumfries House and Robert Burns Museum. The bedroom was generously proportioned and comfortable and even had two comfortable chairs (so often, other Hotels only provide one chair in a room for two!!!).

we got a room at the rear of the building, it was clean but very tired looking. The heat in the room made it hard to sleep. The price was far to high for the room standard.
