Nothing to dislike

A lovely little flat, very clean, spacious and in a fantastic location. Everything we needed. Host left us a welcome basket which was a nice touch. Two different exits meant you could go out on to the high street or directly out on to the promenade and beach. Couldn’t fault a thing and we’d definitely recommend this flat.

The proximity to the beach. Close to all amenities, but still very quiet. Trying to find dates to book future holidays. Overall a very nice and clean place to recharge the batteries. Would highly recommend.

Lack of water pressure from the taps and shortage of hot water for a family of 5. Understandable lack of adjacent parking, given location. Understandably restricted view from apartment.

Very comfortable and clean apartment. Everything you could possibly need for a fab break. The steps to the beach were great, for easy access to the seafront. Hosts very informative and quick to respond to any questions

Amazing location, beautiful home. You can hear the sea when led in bed. All the mod cons to make your stay comfortable. You can get to the town through a lane or take some steps down to the sea front. Marie was lovely, very good host and We will be booking again.!

Fantastic location. The accommodation provided everything we needed for our stay. Parking in Lyme Regis is limited but we managed to get a space at Bridge Street car park which is only a short walk away but a little costly, therefore we did move the car to Holmbush Car Park during our stay as it was better value. We ate in some lovely restaurants all within a few minutes walk of this place. Will definitely keep an eye out for future availability, as would be very happy to stay here again.

Lovely flat really great location. Nice touch asking what milk we wanted before hand and small welcome basket. The flat is well equipped. Would stay here again!

Absolutely loved this property, and thanks Marie and Matt for allowing us to share your beautiful apartment for the week The location was perfect, close to the beach shops and most importantly the restaurant/pubs🥂🍺😉 We’ve stayed in many places in Lyme over the years and have to confess that your apartment is now one of our favs and we’ll not hesitate to rebook when we next visit Thanks guys

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like but we visited on a busy bank holiday and parking was a nightmare! Can’t be helped for the fab location but access photos of drop off points for luggage may help others x

The family above us were SO excessively loud (beyond what you would expect of excited kids on holiday), we were awoken at 5-6am each day by the noise of children running around, banging, screaming, what sounded like scraping furniture on the floor. Really unsettled my child who is autistic and sensitive to noise. The shower temperature wouldn’t stay consistent, hard for a child to shower without burning themselves or being in freezing cold water.

Clean, lovely style of decor, comfy bed, close to shops and beach, friendly host, lots of gluten free dining options nearby and good local food.

Shower was dangerous going from scalding hot to freezing cold. No bath mat in the bath and bath was somewhat bouncy. Was dusty particularly skirting boards, house was tired no proper handle on the toilet. Plates chipped.

The bathroom was not clean, there was someone else's toe nail on the floor. The flat was very dusty. The parquet flooring was lose in areas and if you did not wear footwear it pinched your feet. A number of plates in the kitchen were chipped and the outside area furniture was very rusty and did not look safe.

Good position, middle of the town and easy access to the beach. The owner was very friendly and contacted us to ask what milk we wanted and left a gift basket. How to find the property and get in were good.

Water pressure isn’t great the tap tan in the kitchen every time the toilet was flushed, but didn’t spoil our holiday at all

The location was perfect for both visiting the shops or the beach! When the washing machine didn’t work the owner very kindly washed and dried our children’s clothes for us!

All furnishings and equipment felt pretty tired. Odd noisy plumbing -flushing the toilet makes the kitchen tap run. Nice to have playing cards and quiz box but these just caused frustration/bemusement. Two decks of cards with different coloured backs both turned out to be incomplete. Topical quiz from 1995 -my parents would know the questions perhaps :-)

Great location. Nice little welcome basket. Lovely porch is a nice spot to lounge. Nicely laid out accommodation with both bedrooms on separate sides of property. Kids slept pretty well.
