We couldn"t work the tempreature on the thermostat and found it too warm. Especially at night when the doors closed. The huts location could be more private. Fishermen positioned themself lake side at the foot of our cabin and as the hot tub isnt covered, it felt intrusive. Fortunately they didnt stay too long. We went for food and drinks and they were away on our return otherwise id have had to ask them to move on. The bedroom would benefit from a bedside table/shelf for your phone or bottled water. Also some chairs to sit on outwith the sunshine. We were fortunate to get good weather and had to then sit on the astrograss. The swing is nice but not practical.

Beautiful views. Comfortable accomodation. Loved the cosy feel and the bath and wood burner. Staff really friendly and helpful. Food was excellent too. We found it to be very relaxing.

The thermostat in our accommodation was set to something like 35 degrees C which was ridiculous and turned the whole place into a sauna! Wasn’t easy to figure out how to adjust it either, though we got there in the end.

Very comfortable stay. Cabins, location and facilities are lovely. Ate breakfast in the restaurant (paid separately) which was also good.

Only negative I heard was the lodge house outdoor furniture was a bit tired and green because of being in the shade behind property. Hot tub wasn’t used there as we all met at the Bothy for the weekend…which was amazing. Blinds at Bothy could do with replacing at door.

Loved the Bothy! So tranquil and perfect for our little dogs to chill and be fenced in safely. We also stayed at the Burrow and the lodge house. We all loved our stay.

No oven gloves, smoke alarm went off every time you cooked something even with doors/windows open, hot tub only had one working jet. Would be better if there was more than one key per lodge when it’s for 6 people.

Accommodation was fabulous - great little getaway in a little hidden hut with hot hub and swing looking over the lake. Breakfast at the restaurant was outstanding! Would visit again and would highly recommend.

The only thing l would possibly say was maybe 2 dish towels as the draining board made the water move over the work top. Wasn't really an issue as had the heating on so dried it on that but maybe in the summer you might need two. Also 2 toilet rolls as 1 wasn't enough.

The shepherd hut was beautiful, it has everything you needed and was spotless. It was amazing sleeping under the stars, very magical. The Bed was comfortable as was the sofa. The bath was amazing, l enjoyed relaxing in it every day. Never used the sauna but looked clean and smelt fresh. I liked the picnic bench too, weather was lovely so l was able to sit out.

There was no canopy over the hot tub which we were led to believe there was going to be judging by the photos. Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there which no one can control however would have been a lot better if there was the cover over the hot tub

Actually only "observation' was I was inundated with emails on terms and conditions before arriving and "payment due". I phoned to confirm all was well and received an apology...so no problem and then promptly received another load of emails...lol..maybe something to look at...bit off putting before even arriving.

The resort is for relaxing and quiet...obviously great for fishermen which we weren't but did enjoy watching them throgh the poring rain! The staff were informal and friendly going the extra step with a smile. Will be back with the whole family dogs and all!

The bed was a little hard and could have done with a headboard to stop pillows slipping down the back.

Absolutely stunning and luxurious! Loved just making the most of the in house facilities and watching the world go by from our gorgeous shepherds hut!

Can't fault anything to do with the cabin, the only let down would be the on-site Bar & Restaurant. The food was nice and reasonably priced, but unfortunately the service let it down completely. It was a quiet Wednesday night, the manager took us to our table and sat with menus. We ordered starters and main courses with said manager. 15-20 pass without food, then a young waitress came over with our main courses. Obviously a mix up when putting our order through, we said that we'd have our main courses and save room for dessert. After that we may as well have been invisible. No one checked up on us at all. The manager avoided our table after this. We weren't asked if we wanted more drinks, if our food was okay, not even an apology from the manager. Very poor service. Let your customers know what happened, cuision the situation, don't act like we're not here. Overall I would definitely come to stay in the cabin again. Would probably miss the bar and restaurant though.

Everything about 'The Burrow' cabin was perfect. It was cosy, comfortable and spotless. The bed was so comfortable and everything in the cabin felt high quality. The facilities were great. A clean hot tub, log burner, and a smart TV. Also dog friendly too.

Fantastic place. Excellent family resort. The kids loved every minute of our trip. The log burner and hottub just topped it all off.
