The communal space arrangement in the kitchen was very cramped, and it was all very institutional but then I know it is student accommodation, so totally expected, but IF anyone is building more student accommodation I think it would be good if they thought about the importance of the communal area, for their mental health, but this is of course a much bigger subject.

We didn't have breakfast, but the location was fantastic, and exceedingly good value.

A symphony of slamming doors. All the 6 rooms had fire doors and not everyone is considerate enough to hold them and prevent them from slamming.

Location is perfect. The flat is clean, very well maintained throughout our stay.

It being a student residence for most of the year, it carries that indistinguishable stench from many drunken nights and poorly looked after accommodation. The shower was clogged just like it was in my university. Most likely from hair mixed with other male bodily fluids. Ok for a quick night or couple of nights but not the best hotel you’ll be in for sure. Carry a young student mentality with you and you’ll be fine. No lifts, so carry a backpack.

It was very central and for a last minute booking it was affordable compared to hotels available at the time which were twice the price per night. The staff were polite.

The building is very old and there is visible, extensive mould in the bathrooms. Though the bathroom were kept clean it was a bit gross. The location of reception wasn't very clear, so more instructions on how to find reception would be good. Also, clearer signange at reception.

Was as advertised: basic accommodation with comfy bedding, functional facilities including full kitchen, bathroom. Within walking distance to both Old and New Towns but far enough away to not be right inside the hubbub.

Too much noise from the doors. 6 rooms in one apartment for 1 bath is not enought.

Very close to Edinburg Castle and city center. Good value. Kitchen had everything you need.

Didn't know it was a student accommodation before going. Didn't expect shared bathrooms. The listing could have been more clear.

Kitchen available to use, comfortable bed. Was able to buy my own tea ingredients and store milk in the fridge.

Tv had aerial problem that wasn't fixed and there was still food in the cupboards that was out of date. But easily got rid of.

Toilets could have used a sign on the door labelling them as such as one of them, in our flat, when shut one of the toilets look like a cupboard; my partner was told to get out the shower by someone needing a poo that did not realise there were 2 toilets hahaha.

Excellent room. Great price considering the fringe. Central location. Bathrooms clean, shower gel etc supplied. Friendly staff. Great secure keycard. Stay was excellent the whole time. Thank you very much!

The beds were a bit too short for some us (since we are all tall dutch guys). Also there were not enough kitchen appliences to make a real meal.

Great value for money when travelling with a group! We were with six and all had a seperate room which was great. The staff was very welcoming and friendly :)

Didn't like the alarms going of if door wasn't shut and also doors slamming shut all the time. It was very hot and windows didn't open much.

The staff were superb, you should look after them. Location was ok and flat was fine for a few days . Beds were a bit small for a couple . Parking was brilliant .

The TV wasn’t tuned properly so couldn’t watch not a major as on holiday, could be improved.
