The bed was a bit cramped for us as both large on the large side.Couldn’t fault anything else at all.

Donald the owner gave us a very thorough guide to the motor home and was contactable by phone if we had any problems.The freedom to go anywhere you wanted was great and we stayed at the beautiful Horgabost beach one night.

Conveniently based on Lewis just off the ferry. Not too big like some motor homes but with all of the facilities you need for going off grid for a while.

Wasn't anything I didn't like but could have stored dishes & crockery in a rack so they didn't rattle so much when driving.

Great van, very comfortable bed with extra bits & pieces to make it homely. Donald was so good - great handover when we got to van and he even brought my Ereader to ferry as I'd left it in the van! Above & beyond😁

There was nothing to dislike.

The motorhome was spotlessly clean and sanitised, fresh linen and towels, all comforts available (heating, hot water, plenty of storage space, cooking appliances). Easy to drive and surprisingly cheap to refuel! Donald is a great host, gave us all the instructions and was very helpful throughout our trip. If you are planning to visit the Outer Hebrides, we highly recommend booking with Donald and you’ll be sure to have a great experience.

Everything, the motorhome is well equipped and comfortable,. the owner, Donald, talks you through the workings in a clear friendly manner before you set off. The MH looks intimidating to start off but you soon get used to it. It's great

Donald was an excellent host.met us to show all van facilities and checked everything before we left The motor home itself was great to drive and economical on deseil.The bed was very comfortable making for great nights sleep .shower toilet room is spacious we covered 170miles in comfort in west Harris .Motor home is good size for small roads well worth the money for experience .

Flexibility of the motorhome and touring both Lewis & Harris. Everything we needed within the motorhome, easy & comfortable to drive, no busy traffic, roads well maintained on the Islands great campsites and the folk were just so helpful. Donald (van owner) excellent service, gave a good demo of all aspects of using the van, wish we had been more attentive, accomodating in drop off/pick up.....nicer guy you couldnt have met...would definately reccomend 💯%

The end, could have easily stayed a whole lot longer!

We are a family of two adults & a 16 year old and have been eagerly awaiting for this trip the best part of 2 years, and it was so worth it, our dealings and communication with Donald were 1st class. We arrived on Lewis & Harris in April on the Stornoway Lewis Ferry via Calmac from Ullapool, made the short car journey to meet Donald and pick up the motorhome, the collection process was very simple and straightforward, Donald explained all the workings along with the do's & don'ts, we then got to set off on our adventure around the Outer Hebrides. The motorhome was clean, tidy and well equipped with a full tank of fuel, two gas bottles and a full water tank meant we were good to go from the off, our 1st night was an overnight spot at Reinigeadail, the drive in is not for the faint hearted due to the tight winding road, but the spot is free with absolutely fantastic views, this being our 1st night meant we could put the motorhome through it's paces, it did not disappoint, very comfortable and a great nights sleep was had, the peace, quiet and views the next morning were superb. Some of our itinerary was Lewis & Harris, West Harris Trust Camping Spot 5, ferry from Leverburgh to Berneray, Balranald Campsite (North Uist), Kilbride Campsite (South Uist), ferry from Eriskay to Aird Mhor Barra, Borve Campsite, return was Grenitote Picnic Area (North Uist) and finally Laxdale Holiday Park (Lewis), the last night meant we were close to Tong for dropping off motorhome the next day.

Absolutely loved our trip with Donald's Motorhome. Well equipped and well laid out. Bed so comfy! A pleasure to drive and very economical too! Couldn't fault it all. Would thoroughly recommend as its a great way to see the Outer Hebrides.

Genuinely no cons.

The motorhome was the perfect size for a 9 day trip, not too big and not too small. Storage space was great, fuel consumption was unexpectedly great, and the flexibility that this accommodation provided us for our trip was fantastic. Plus - it was spotless!
