“The village was fantastic and quaint. The perfect point for all adventures on Harris. Breakfast on the go was prepared for us on day one because of the trip to St Kilda, but day two made to order breakfast was wonderful . The hotel staff were the most friendly and helpful people I have ever meet. Thank you for making our stay great!!”
“1. Location - Just by the ferry terminal...30 seconds walk and the bus stop, again 30 seconds walk. 3 min walk to the Hebridean Distillery Harrerach
2. Staff - Supremely helpful and polite. They even helped me open my suitcase when its lock malfunctioned. Restaurant manager is supremely helpful.
3. Restaurant - Serve very tasty food, specially check for whether they are serving local sea food. I tried muesels and locally caught laguistine....the way they made is simply delicious.
4. Well stocked bar - Apart from Whiskys, they also have Italian digestifs.

“Everything. Way beyond what one would expect in such a remote (and beautiful!!) location. The place was spotlessly clean, food in the bar was very good with a good selection of beer as well. Breakfast was as good a cooked breakfast as I've had. Anne on reception really friendly and professional who gave me birdwatching tips as you'll see 😉”
“Communicated well via booking.com's messaging service, accommodated our request for an early book in, the bed was comfortable and the accomodation was in a relatively quiet location a short walk from the town centre and ferry terminal.
The breakfast was a choice of cereal, cheese or instant porridge which suited us. All self service from packets but the bonus is that you don't have to be up for a specific breakfast time. Ideal for people travelling without a car.”
