The room was a bit warm & I had to kept the window open at night - but the weather was warm. If it had been usual Scottish weather the room would have been very cosy

It was right on the riverfront & was quiet & comfortable but within close walking distance of the city centre.

No personality of its own. Staff quite distant: probably comes down from the owners/management. Pretty boring all in all.

    Great location.

Crack between the door, so it was not soundproof. Wore ear plugs during the night. View directly into a grey wall. Major creaking from the floor in our room.

Clean room. Good breakfast, lovely staff. Close to city centre.

Can’t really think of a negative, maybe that there was no bath in my room , but I chose to have a view of the river over that . Only thing that wasn’t right, the lamp at the dressing table was broken and the mirror was a bit dodgy, didn’t affect my experience but it may others .

I thought the room was lovely, comfortable bed , shower that’s powerful & hot ( I’ve experienced the opposite) The view from the room was beautiful. Plug points are in sensible places, eg beside a mirror or bedside ( again I’ve experienced otherwise) Also I liked that the room was not stifling , again most hotels be stayed in are way too warm! Food was exceptional, breakfast, one of the very best I’ve ever had, especially the haggis! I also used the Waterside restaurant, was not disappointed, food was beautiful & the cocktails were really delicious too.

Our room was located in one of the outer buildings. Car park was located behind the building and it was easy to get into our room. Location was right along the river so it was great to just sit and watch. We also did the distillery tour next door and that was fun. We wanted an afternoon drink and the bar wasn't open so we had to walk to the hotel next door - highly reccomend that as well. Hotel restaurant was very tasty and easy.

You get what you paid for.. we stayed in the Alexander building which was very old. It didn't have an elevator. Some things in the bathroom were rusty and moldy. The TV would turn on and off by itself .... The walls were thin and you could hear the room next door.

The hotel was by the river ness and the view was mesmerizing. Just a few minutes walk from the city centre and 10 minutes walk from the train station. The staff were friendly and professional. The bed was very comfortable. The room size was reasonable and spacious enough.

Shower head couldn’t be adjusted ( not assembled correctly). Would have liked more tea bags in the room.

Size of room was good and so was the walk in shower. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Free car parking on site.

Some indication that the hotel was over several buildings in a line down the street would have been beneficial before booking especially if residents have poor mobility. Our room was the furthest you could get from the restaurant requiring a brisk walk in coats with umbrellas in the cold wet weather to get to breakfast.

Room and en-suite was well appointed and clean. River view was good. Waterside restaurant was pleasant with friendly staff and with river views too. Entire site well maintained and attractive. An excellent location for the centre of Inverness.

Room was cramped, no mirror in the room so my wife could not dry her air near a mirror - the only mirror was in the bathroom but there was no electric plug for the hair dryer.
